Today is the very last day of school and I'm so excited. My best friends Josh, Sasha, Leo, Fatima, and I are all going to have a blast. We made a bucket list of all the things we are going to do this summer earlier in the school year. When the last bell rings we all meet at our usual spot by the "haunted tree" (it's not really haunted but two acorns always fall on Josh's head every time we go).
"So, what should we do now?" Josh scratches his head as the acorns fall right on cue.
"Maybe we should just go home for now and meet up tomorrow night to go skating; I'm exhausted," Fatima replies.
We all nod our heads in agreement. Josh and I were the first to form our little group. We were friends since we were babies because our moms are best friends. Later came: Leo, Sasha, and Fatima. And we've been friends together the five of us since 7th grade. Honestly, I find it crazy that this is our very last year of high school. I've been through thick and thin with these guys. I have no clue how I'm going to survive when we all leave for college. Fatima's bossiness, Josh's humor, Leo's wit, and Sasha's kindness all make me who I am. That's why we decided that this summer will be the best summer ever. It's the summer before we all go away to college. We've got to make it count! We're all going to do things that we never got to do together and it starts tomorrow!
