Peter was staring at the blackboard, painfully aware of the pair of eyes that were glued to him. Liam had rushed out shortly after their weird conversation, rambling something about how he couldn't bear the tension without doing something stupid again. Peter had wondered if that meant more kissing, and after a night of consideration, he had to say he would have been open to that. After tossing and turning, thinking and overthinking, Peter had come to the conclusion that he had a crush on the other boy, regardless of how little he knew him. This boy was just pure intensity, and that had swept him off his feet.

It was just weird that this strange new boy liked him. Nobody had ever wanted him that way. Peter, on the other hand, had had many crushes over the years. Most of them female, but since Dale Hudson from Science slam had made his heart flutter, he had known about his attraction to more than one gender. He was okay with that, so Liam being a boy wasn't an issue.

The real problem was that now everything was even more awkward than before. He didn't know how to react, how to talk to the other boy. He had been debating the whole time if it was appropriate to send the other boy a smile or even a wink, but he was way too insecure for either of that.
The worst about that was that Liam seemed to misinterpret that. He looked sad, like something between a kicked puppy and self-reproach, and paid little to no attention to the class. He had just been sitting there like that, chin propped up on his hand and looking at Peter all day. Having a crush was just a mess.

So when they were free to go, Peter dared to look at Liam directly. The boy smiled at him. Peter smiled back. As he stood up, taking his things, Liam walked over. "You're not mad at me?" he made sure, eyeing Peter carefully. "Why should I?" Peter replied, hoisting his bag. "Because..you know, I thought I might have spooked you.." Liam shrugged, falling in step with Peter, the two of them now walking down the hallway. "You didn't," Peter answered, looking to the floor. That was only partly true. "That's good.", Liam sighed in relief. " I struggle a lot to suppress my bad habits, and therefore, I hardly maintain any relationship at all." "Your bad habits?" Peter chuckled in amusement at how dramatic that sounded. " I got a lot of them, "Liam assured him with a smirk.  "You already met my impulsivity."  "Yeah, I did." Peter nodded, and the floor was even more interesting than before.  " Do you do that often?", he then asked a question that had been burning in him all day. "What?", Liam responded. Peter stopped in front of his locker." Randomly kissing someone.", he said, burying  his face in it. "Yeah, I told you: bad habits." Liam shrugged. Peter peaked at him, a bit shocked by the blunt confession.

But it wasn't something he hadn't expected. He had noticed the way eyes followed Liam wherever he walked. And the kiss didn't feel like he had never kissed anyone before. "Have there been many girls?" he asked carefully, unsure if he even wanted to hear the answer. " I don't care for girls. I never did.", Liam answered, looking around while lazily leaning against the row of lockers.  "That's unfortunate. They are all looking at you.", Peter joked about masking how his heart was beating faster.

" Do you look at me like that, Peter?", Liam took it and made Peter squirm under his gaze. "Are you into boys?" He came dangerously close, and Peter was thankful that no one was around, or else they would have laughed at how easily he was hooked to lean in as well. Or worse. But he was yet again bewitched by that look Liam was giving him that felt like it belonged to him only. So was he into boys? In any case, he was into that boy. "You're something else, Skater boy.", Liam drawled. He had his answer. "I should warn you about looking at me like that in public. I already have been kicked out of school for railing someone in a bathroom stall.", he added, deadly serious and visibly restraining himself to passionately kiss Peter right here and now as his gaze flickered between the boy's eyes and lips.

But his statement broke the spell for Peter as he had a reason to be shocked again about the boy's bluntness. " How does that even happen?", he asked in confusion, turning and closing his locker. "Well, I usually look at a boy I think is hot...then one thing leads to the other.", the blond explained, scratching his chin with those ridiculous long fingers.  " No, not that. Getting kicked out of school for that. I'm certain a couple is making out in the restroom right now. There always is." Peter quickly corrected him, turning red around the cheeks.
"Well, it's less tolerated if a gay couple chooses the wrong door than a straight one." Liam shrugged, following behind Peter as the boy had started to walk in awkwardness. " But enough about that. More importantly..are you still tutoring me?" Peter shook his head vehemently. "Of course not. If you don't need it, I ain't got time for that."

"Can I teach you something?" Liam grinned, leaning closer. Peter shook his head again, this time stunned by the flirting of the other boy. " You can come over helping me decide what to do with the research.", he then said, not declining anything. And of course, that was what Liam immediately picked up, a large grin of excitement and spreading unto his lips. "You have no idea what you are doing to me, Peter Parker.", he said. Peter could only imagine what he meant by that, and his cheeks grew even hotter. If Liam had an idea of what chaos he had been creating in Peter's body was out of the question. Most likely, he had the experience for that. And Peter's fluttering heart would love him to teach him a thing or two.
The possibility of another kiss had hung in his thoughts since last night, and somehow, he knew, as soon as they would be alone in his room, Liam's lacking impulse control was going to cause it all by itself.

"Hey, Peter.", the other spoke up again, hands in the pockets of his dressing pants. "Yeah?" Peter looked up at him. "Please just tell me if I'm too much. Regardless of the situation."  "I can do that.", Peter nodded. "That's good because I have a feeling we're going to be the best of friends."
Liam genuinely smiled at Peter. "So you'll stop by tonight?", the other boy wanted to know. Now it was Liam's part to nod. With that , Peter smiled back.
