(5) Admit It

On Monday, Taehyun had prepared a lunch of your favorite foods for you. "I'm sorry if you felt like I was ignoring you last week. I was going through a lot," he explained. "Can you forgive me?" "Yes, I will," you said. Taehyun grinned and hugged you.

You pushed the theories that Beomgyu had told you in the back of your head. You were just glad to have Taehyun back. That's all that matters.

You and Taehyun were sitting together at lunch eating when Beomgyu came up to the table. "Y/N," he said. "I need to talk to you."

"O-okay," you said. As you and Beomgyu were walking away, Taehyun was glaring at Beomgyu. He did the same.

You and Beomgyu stood by the cafeteria doors. "So, what do you need to tell me?"

He sighed. "When I was getting your donuts yesterday, I saw Taehyun. He was..."

"He was what, Beomgyu? Finish your sentence,"

"He was with another girl."

"Wait, what?" you laughed nervously. "No, that can't be true. Maybe that girl you saw was his cousin or something,"

"But Y/N, cousins don't kiss each other on the lips, do they?"

"That girl could've been his older sister,"

"Y/N, that girl didn't look anything like his sister," Beomgyu explained. "Admit it: he's cheating on you,"

You shook your head. "No, he's not cheating on me, Beomgyu. He's-"

"Hey, is everything okay over here?" you and Beomgyu saw Taehyun walking towards you two. He wrapped his arm around you and leaned into your ear. "What did he say to you?" he asked quietly but loud enough for Beomgyu to hear.

"It was just a misunderstanding; not a big deal," you replied. "Come on, let's go back to eating."

As you and Taehyun walked back to the table, Taehyun looked back at Beomgyu and glared at him. "Leave her alone," Taehyun mouthed. Beomgyu sighed and walked out of the cafeteria.
