Ghosting (Beomgyu x Reader)

(8) Milk

For days, you avoided Beomgyu and spent most of your time with Taehyun. Sometimes you missed hanging out with him, but you didn't want to admit that.

Every night, Taehyun has been taking you out on dates. From a movie theater to a restaurant. He also gave you gifts, like flowers and chocolates. It wasn't even Valentine's Day.

Then just as you expected, on Sunday, Taehyun had started to ignore you. You were used to it by now, for all you had to do was wait until he decided to talk to you again.

You thought about when Beomgyu said Taehyun was cheating on you, but you didn't want to believe that. Taehyun was a loyal and faithful boyfriend; he would never do that.

But some dreams turn into reality.

Your mother told you to run to the convenience store to buy milk. You obeyed and got inside of your car, driving to the convenience store near your house.

You walked to the back of the store and grabbed the milk out of the refrigerator. You were about to go to the checkout when you heard a familiar voice from the other side. "Chowon, stop laughing at me! You can see I'm trying!"

Curious, you walked to the laughing voices, and your eyes grew wide. Your boyfriend was kissing another girl on the lips. He smiled in the kiss and released, caressing her cheek.

"I know it's cheesy, but you're the most wonderful girl I ever met, Chowon." Taehyun explained, "I'm glad you're my girlfriend." "Taehyun, not over here!" Chowon giggled, punching his shoulder.

An invisible flame suddenly ignited inside of you. "Taehyun?"

Taehyun and Chowon stopped their conversation and looked at you. "Y-Y/n?" he stuttered. "What are you doing here?"

You started making your way towards them. "I was just getting some milk when I saw my boyfriend kissing another girl on the lips." you pointed at Chowon. "Who's this girl, and why did you call her your girlfriend?"

"Because I am his girlfriend," said the girl. "Taehyun has never liked you; you're the girl on the side,"

"No, she's lying." you looked at Taehyn, desperate for an answer. "Right?"

Taehyun sighed. "When you asked me out, Y/n, I said yes because I felt bad for all of the rejections you got. I never had feelings for you. Chowon was always my girlfriend."

"And she was okay with this?"

Chowon laughed. "I was the one who told him to do it, Y/n."

"Why?"

"Don't worry about it, hun," Chowon placed her hand on your shoulder, but you pushed it away. Tears were now blinding your vision. "Taehyun, I lost a friend because of you. I believed your stupid and worthless lives! You ever loved me!"

"That's what I said," Taehyun said coldly.

"Taehyun, we're over,"

"We were never together in the first place, Y/n,"

A part of him hurt when he said those words. Angry and heartbroken, you went to the line and paid for the milk. Then you got inside of your car and drove to Beomgyu's house.

You went up to his door and knocked. It was Beomgyu's older brother who answered the door. "Y/n? Are you okay?"

"Where Beomgyu at?" you asked, wiping away your tears. "He's in his room," the brother replied.

You nodded a thank you and went to Beomgyu's room. The door was closed when you got there, and you stormed in without knocking.

Beomgyu was playing video games and dropped his controller when he saw you. "Y/n, what are you—"

Beomgyu didn't get to finish his sentence because you wrapped your arms around him, and you two fell back on the bed. Beomgyu was confused at first, but then he wrapped his arms around you when he noticed you were crying.

He squeezed you tightly. "What's wrong?"

"You were right all along,"
