Y/N's POV

"Are you, a stranger, accusing my parents of murder and all of the other disgusting things?" I yell out, my voice echoing through my room.

"Y/n, you don't understand it" he sighs.

"No I don't and I don't plan to believe someone who broke into my room!"

I pick up a vase from a cupboard, but as I'm about to throw it at the stranger, the vase goes through my hand and drops to the ground, shattering into pieces.

Heimdall looks relieved and tries to get closer to me.

I'm about to dash at him when suddenly we hear a pair of footsteps getting closer and we both turn to look at the door.

I begin to panic and look a Heimdall, but when I looked at where he stood - he was gone.

My door swings open and I see the Black Widow standing there, a worried look on her face.

"I heard something breaking" she looks down at the shattered pieces near my feet "oh, did your nerves get to you?"

"Was trying to get rid of it, didn't seem to like it all too well" I lie, I hate lying.

I hate lying to people, especially her. I've seen her on TV and read her files. She's a wonderful woman and I can feel a safe aura coming from her.

"Happened to me too, Stark is terrible at decorating rooms" she crosses her arms and giggles.

I go to the broom near my door and pick it up. I sweep up the pieces and throw them into the trash can.

"Say, Y/n, how come you decided to join the Avengers?" she asks, her question full of curiosity, innocent curiosity.

Another lie, I'm going to not fall asleep tonight.

"Doctor Strange offered it." I shrug and act unbothered by the lies I'm saying.

"I see, he probably feels uneasy about what happened with Thor," she sighs "alright, I'll head back to my room."

Even though my back was turned to her, I could feel that she wanted me to say something, anything.

'Y/n stop getting distracted, you're on a mission,' I told myself and put the broom down.

I took out my laptop and quickly Google'd Heimdall's name.

I scanned my eyes through the multiple pages, and some things stood out to me.

"All seeing," "Rainbow Bridge," but the word that stood out to me the most was "Asgardian."

"Great, another one of those 'gods.'" I rolled my eyes.

I looked at the clock on my laptop - 7pm. The city made me think it was 12 o'clock due to how much light it emitted.

As I looked at the city and studied the different lives in front of me, I felt sad knowing I was wasting my life trying to kill a god.

I was never fond of work, but I felt like I wanted a real job.

My dream was to find a husband, get a small house in the suburbs, and live happily while working in my potato fields.

My laptop fell through my thigh, and I sighed.

I stood up from my bed and changed into more comfortable clothes.

I left my room and headed for the kitchen, I arrived moments later and boy oh boy, it was huge!

I walked up to the double door fridge and hesitated to open it.

But a quick beep went off from inside of it, and it opened by itself.

The fridge was full of so many random foods, I personally only wanted a warm meal.

I tried to find some ingredients but failed. So I took out the only thing that looked tasty, and it was a box leftovers with the letters TS written on it.

'TS as in to stranger?' I thought to myself and smiled as I took the box with me and put it in the microwave.

After the microwave beeped, I took out the hot box and put it on the table as fast as I could.

I needed to try to learn how to control my condition, I can't be throwing stuff down left and right.

I took out a fork and started to eat it alone. It was quite lonely.

"Jarvis?" I asked while I ate.

"Yes, Y/n?" he responded shortly.

"Where is everyone?"

"I'm afraid that they are currently having a meeting and won't be able to join you."

I rolled my eyes. "That's not what I asked."

"Well, you do seem bothered by the fact that they are not here,"

I sigh "yes I am. It's lonely."

"I can be your eating buddy, I'll tell you a story about anything you would like."

"Tell me everything you can find online about Asgard and it's people"

Jarvis proceeds to talk about them, and about 30 minutes in, I start to feel sleepy and just plop my head on the table.
