Chapter #5| A new partner

Y/N's POV.

I awake to the sound of the elevator Beep. I quickly put my plate and fork into the sink and head over to the living room.

The elevator doors open, and Nat, Cap, and Clint step out with someone behind them.

That someone looks like another Asgardian due to the amount of gold his attire has.

"Oh hey Y/n" Natasha tells me and waves as all of them step out of the elevator.

Nat comes to me, while Cap and Clint just awkwardly stand behind her with the prisoner.

Nat notices that I'm looking at the prisoner.

"Don't worry about him kiddo, he won't repeat the same things he did to New York again," she exclaims.

"Who is he even?" I look at Clint and Cap, their faces a bit shocked.

"You don't know?" Clint asks, clearly surprised.

"He's L-" before Clint can finish, Cap elbows him. "Sorry Y/n, he's not important to you."

"Oh alright," I frown, and all of them walk away.

I head to my room and shut the door behind me.

'When is that stupid Thor showing up?' I sit down on my bed and just sigh.

A few moments later, I hear a knock on my door and quickly stand up to open it.

It's Nat standing with Clint and the prisoner behind them.

"So Y/n we actually don't have any good cells for this bastard, so Fury decided to lock him in the room next to yours." She laughs awkwardly.

"Won't he try to escape?" I question them.

"Not really, his magic is suppressed by the bracelets that Fury gave us." Clint laughs and lifts both of the prisoners' hands up.

The prisoner, on the other hand, seems bored and unamused.

"Well, we'll be settling him down then. Call us if he will try to kill you." Nat smiles and unlocks the room next to me.

I close my door and lock it.I can't even control the loud sigh that escapes my mouth.

'Kill me? he doesn't even seem dangerous.' I laugh to myself and wait for their footsteps to leave.

I decide that if he's their enemy, then he can be my partner in crime.

I tear out a small sheet of paper out of my sketch book and write a simple "Hello!" on it.

I fold it in half, silently unlock my door, and open it.

I get close to his door and slide the note below it.

I go back to my room and lay down in bed, waiting for an answer back.

A few hours pass, and I'm basically on the verge of falling asleep, when suddenly the note appears on my stomach.

Hello miss, do you have any books to spare for your neighbour?If yes, please put them next to my door.

I smile and quickly take out some of my favourite books.'Finally, someone who can read!'

I quickly place the books next to his door and close my door.

I lay down in bed with a big smile on my face. Maybe he can be of great help.

My eyes slowly start to close, but suddenly, I notice a shadow in my room, but before I can process it, I fall asleep.
