Chapter #7 | Powers?

Tony's POV

After we make the last turn and the elevator can be seen I notice that I cannot hear Y/Ns footsteps behind me.

I turn around and see her laying down on the ground.

I run up to her and notice that she has no pulse. Picking her up I rush her to Bruce's lab.

"Whoah, what's the rush?" Bruce asks, noticing Y/N in my hands "Oh my god"

I put her on the table "No pulse, dropped down with no sound"

Bruce pokes a big needle through her stomach and starts injecting a blue liquid.

'I can't have a kid dying here, especially someone new'

Y/N POV

I open my eyes and hear Tony argue with someone else.

"Shush, please" I mutter out and everything goes silent.

"Y/N! I thought we lost you!" Tony exclaims, gripping the table.

"Glad to have you back Ms Y/N" Bruce says softly "But be careful, you have a needle in your stomach.

Before I can respond, the doors to the lab open and an angry Thor walks in.

We all look at him.

"Where is she?" Thor says loudly, but then notices me and comes closer.

'Shit, did he figure out who I was? He can't, nobody knows I exist!'

"I am so sorry Lady Y/N. My brother, Loki, admitted to using magic to get into your mind" Thor puts one of his hands on my shoulder.

'Gods, this guy is so sweet. If not for my parents, I would've actually loved to spend time with him'

"It's alright, I'm alright" I tell him.

"He said that your magic blocked his, that's why you reacted the way you did and passed out" Thor says.

Tony looks at me "Magic? Hold up... Y/N you have powers?"

'Shit, now they definitely know' I think to myself, feeling the tension in the air.

"They are not powers. It's an illness that I haven't been able to control. It randomly manifests and hurts like hell itself" I sigh.

"Your DNA does look different than any other I've seen, I can try to fix it, but it might take time..." Bruce says and turns to look at the dozen of computer screens behind him.

"Lady Y/N, I could take you to Asgard, we have the finest doctors there" Thor says, placing his hand on my shoulder.

"NO!" I yell "I mean...no, there's no need" I remove the needle that's piercing my abdomen and stand up.

"Lady Y/N, if there is something that you need-"

"I'm fine, Thor." I start heading for the exit.

"But, Lady-" Thor is cut off by Tony placing his hand over his mouth.

I can feel their gaze as I walk out of the room.

'Next stop, that damn Loki's room'

After a few minutes I finally reach his room.

I stare at the door 'should I knock? just barge in?... Ugh, fuck it'

I open the door quickly.

A smell of perfume enters my nose, I look around the room and see how different it is from mine 'I hate witches'.

"Well good thing that I'm not a witch" a familiar voice speaks behind me.

I turn around and see Loki entering his room, dressed in a nice black suit.

"Well, you sure dress like one" I watch him sit down on a dark green arm chair.

"What brings you to me, mortal?" He asks, sounding unamused.

"Why did you try to get into my mind?" I ask, crossing my arms.

"I was bored" He opens a book and starts to read it.

"You can't just invade other people's minds!"

"I can and I will, I am a god afterall. I do what I want when I want to do it. Your opinion does not matter to-" he looks at my stomach "Please don't get blood on my carpet"

"Blood-?" I put a hand on my stomach and feel something wet "There's no blood-" I look at my hand and see blood.

Loki stares at me, a sick smirk on his face.

"I'm not done with you" I start heading for my room, but before I close the door, I leave a bloody handprint on the inside of it.

I hear him sigh as I enter my room and close the door behind me.

After a quick shower, I bandage the wound up.

'11pm...maybe I will go to sleep early today'

I sit down on my bed, put on my F/C pijamas and turn off all of the lights.

"Stupid gods, stupid magic" I look at my hands.

'If there was only a way for me to learn to control it..'

My thoughts are cut off when I look at the bouquet of flowers that I got.

'Who are you Loki? Why would you send me flowers but then act so rude...?'
