Y/N POV

I open my eyes and see a rainbow bridge, one end leading to a golden castle while the other looks like an upside down ice cream cone.

"Hello?" I yell out, my voice echoes through the glass-like texture of the bridge.

"Hello, Miss," a voice replies behind me, I turn around to see the prisoner...wait...what is HE doing here?

"Hello, Mr. L-. I never got your name.." I pause."Where are we?"

"So rude of me not to introduce myself! I'm Loki of Asgard, and we are in Asgard" he looks at the golden castle in the distance.

'Wait, Asgard?! This is where my parents are from! Could he be a noble?'

"Is something wrong Miss-?"

"Y/N"

"Miss Y/N"

"Why are we here?" I awkwardly take a few steps forward into the direction of the castle.

"Your dream brought us here" Loki says, not even batting an eye.

"But I've never been here!" I look back at him "and how do you know that t-"

A bright flash suddenly appears and I'm in front of a what appears to be a prison cell.

I walk closer to it and see two corpses - both beheaded with blood covering the floor like the red carpet that celebrities walk on.

"Who are they?"

"These are the most wanted criminals in Asgard" Loki appears next to me "Mr and Mrs L/N. The King finally caught them, the only thing left is to find their offspring. "

'Wait, could that really be mom and dad?'

My head begins to spin rapidly.

'Mom...'

'Dad....'

Loki's words begin to replay in my head "The only thing left is to find their offspring"

'Me, they want to kill me!'

I wake up, gasping for air with tears running down my cheeks.

I look around my room 'avengers tower still'.

'The dream... It was so realistic, everything about it felt all too real'

"Jarvis?" I say, wiping my tears with the bed sheet.

"Yes, Miss Y/N," his voice calms me down enough to stabilise my breathing.

"Tell me everything about Asgard and it's people" I tell him and lay down.

A FEW HOURS LATER

'Asgard, a golden castle, a king and a queen...'

A knock on my door breaks my trail of thought.

"Come in," I shout as I sit up in my bed, trying to fix my shirt a bit.

Nat walks into my room. She's wearing a more casual outfit, no guns at all.

"Good morning. I didn't think that you were still asleep." She smiled and set a glass of roses on a cabinet near the bathroom.

"Why did you bring these here?" I asked Nat while she opened my curtains.

"They were on the floor near your door. There was also a note left on them." Nat gave me the note from her pocket.

'Thank you for the books'
- L

'Well, he's quick. First, he visits my dreams. Now he's gifting me flowers'

"What did it say?" Nat asked, clearly bored.

"Just a letter of their initial - M." I cruble the piece of paper and throw it into the trashcan.

'Why did I lie to her? It wasn't anything special. Why would I lie about something so simple as a bouquet of flowers?'

"Don't know anyone named M, must be a secret fan. I mean, you did save Strange without any powers. " Nat looked at me, analysing every single emotion on my face like she was searching for something.

"Is everything alright?" I ask. It's honestly pretty weird to see her like this.

"Yeah, of course. I just saw someone in your eyes. " She laughs it off, but I can tell that what she saw was someone very close to her.

I don't respond, and she walks out of my room.

'Maybe I did something wrong?' I ask myself as I leave my bed.

After a quick cold shower and making my bed, I head down to the kitchen. After making a few sandwiches and getting some juice, I sit down on one of the sofas in the living room.

'It's weirdly quiet, not a single soul inside.'

I quickly finish my breakfast and drink the juice, as I'm about to leave an unfamiliar figure sits down next to me.

"Hello, Y/N! I heard you're our new member! I'm Thor!" he says and stretches his arm out for a handshake.

'Thor! This is it! He is my target! He looks pretty strong to me. This might get messy'

I stretch my hand out to shake his hand. As soon as my hand touches his, it phases through it.

" Oh, I'm so sorry, I can't control it." I try to stay calm and just quickly pull my hand back.

'Shit! Letting him know my weakness is already such a dumb move. It's fine. He doesn't look that smart, maybe he'll just forget it.'

"So you do have powers!" Tony emerges from the bar, a bottle of whisky in his right hand.

"It's not a power. It's a condition. I can't control it, " I sigh, knowing that everybody will find out about it now.

"I can ask Bruce about it. Let's go to the lab and show it to him." he starts walking in the direction of what I assume is the lab.

I quickly follow him, leaving my dirty dishes and a confused target behind. I look back and wave to Thor.

'Maybe I can befriend him first'

I turn back and see a black corridor, no lights, no sound.

"Tony?" My voice echoes through the darkness endlessly.

I look back to see the same darkness as well.

'Alright, Y/N, you're just dreaming, you will wake up back in your bed, and everything will be alright.'

A few minutes pass, but still nothing. I decided to just sit down on the floor to pass the time.

Suddenly, I feel a sharp pain in my chest, like I'm getting stabbed over and over again.

My eyes start to feel heavy, and I lay down. But before I can fully close them, the corridor starts to shift until I see a bright blue light.

"Asgard" is the only thing that I can mutter out before a familiar face appears.

'L-Loki!'
