Chapter 26

Haeryeon

I'm really touched that he defended me but it brought only suspicion that me and him have some kind of special relationship (we do). That definitely doesn't help as it will only gives him an another reason to fire me.

I had no choice but to cup his mouth to shut him out. He really wasn't good at it. He glanced at me, more like glaring before mumbling even though my hand was there. I could feel his saliva all over it.

"Let him talk. I want to hear him." The director spoke out. We're doom.

Yeonjun pulled my hand and held it like it was a calming assurance for him. I didn't dare to pull although it was risky for our future.

"I would like to kindly ask you when did this happen?" I was going to interrupt him but he squeezed my hand as a sign for me to keep still.

Gosh, she was stubborn as hell. I already got this under control. "Friday midnight. I supposed you know where she was at that time?" The director was bad at hiding his expression, he was trying so hard not to smile for whatever reasons.

"Of course. It was the day where we were recording for our special stage until midnight. She would be there as she is my personal make-up stylist. It would not make sense that she was here stealing stuff when I was with her almost the whole time."

Boom! There goes the dynamite.

Oh wait, wait! It would totally make sense if it wasn't her but the person who looked the same. Her creepy evil twin that I totally don't know about except the fact Haeryeon hates her.

"I already know that son. She told me." He said what. Excuse me. I did that for nothing. Haeryeon was seen giggling behind with her sparkly eyes shone on me. 'I tried telling you but you won't listen.' She signed and I caught a few things, just the easy one thou.

I raised up my eyebrows questioning her when did she. But when I think about it myself, she did try. My bad.

"Unlike others, I trust you Haeryeon. I believed what you told me just now and think of yourself as priviledged as I could clearly see the relationship you both have but am ignoring it. You can go now. No need to flaunt off your romantic antics in front of me." He shooed us with his hand.

We both smiled sheepishly as we took our exit. The moment we stood outside the office, we laughed our heads off. It was some comedy shit in there. Most importantly, my heart was rest assured the moment he said no action would be given to her.

I would be right beside her as long as she wants me. I hope it's forever.
