I walked into the room only to see many others scattered around the room. Everyone was stretching and warming up, so I go to an empty spot in the corner and sit my stuff down and start doing my stretches. I was at ease when suddenly, someone opens the door. He looked very familiar and was quite tall. He was with three other guys; one has blonde hair and the other has black hair. They go to the opposite side of the room and put their stuff down so they can get to work. I had my back turned to them so I could focus and not worry about what is going on, but someone taps me on my shoulder.

"Hi" I turn around to see a girl with two puffs on the top of her head and she is wearing a neon yellow sweatsuit with white and black shoes.

"Hey" I replied

"So, as you can tell there are not that many of you know, us in this room so I wanted to know if you want to team up with me and my friends? " I could tell by 'us' she meant African Americans. I looked around and I noticed that most of the people here were either Caucasian or Asian with only a couple of Hispanics.

"Yeah, that would be amazing actually."

"Great!" boasted with a smile

We walked over to the center of the room where two other people were sitting. They also had dark skin like me, so it made me feel so much more at ease.

"Alright yall she's in."

"So, what's ya name." Asked a girl with long curly hair and brown eyes.

"I'm Abigail but yall can call me Abby."

"Ah alright Abby, well I am Payton, and this is Jamal and my girl Kyra."

"Yeah, girl I don't know about yall, but I'm excited." Jamal confessed. While he was talking, I noticed his appearance. He wasn't very tall, and he had split-dyed hair the color of green and pink. He was wearing grey sweatpants and a white muscle tee that has the word goals on the front. Kyra had a similar style to mine, we looked quite similar regarding features. She had long curly hair like mine, and she had doe-shaped brown eyes.

"Omg Abby those guys have been staring at you for five minutes." Jamal said with his eyes telling me to look over his shoulder. I look to where he was signaling, and I see that the guy who I found familiar was staring back at me. IT WAS THE GUY FROM THE DANCE PRACTICE ROOM! The one who thought I was trying to get some kind of secret intel on him as if he was that special. I look away but I could still feel his gaze on me he hasn't looked away and it was starting to make me uncomfortable.

I was about to go walk up to him, but the choreographer had already entered ready to start class.

"Alright class I am your choreographer Matt and I'm just going to teach you a quick combo that you are going to use to compete with for the upcoming commercial with the new rising pop group EnTytled!" He yelled and everyone started to clap.

"I am going to be going kind of fast in the beginning, but we will have time to slow things down in the end so let's get started."

He started teaching us the choreo and I was catching on pretty quickly. It was a really fun dance to Fireball by Pitbull. The moves went with the beat of the music, so it was fun to dance to and I enjoyed myself. After teaching for almost 30 minutes, he lets us take a 15-minute break to just go over everything. I had many people come up to me and ask me for help with the moves and I didn't mind it at all. I was ecstatic that I was good enough for people to want to ask me about the dance. With ten minutes left I start practicing on my own. I run through the steps in my head and then look in the mirror to focus more on the movement of my body and the amount of control that I need to look good. Through the mirror, I can see someone looking through the glass on the other side of the practice room. It was Jinhyeong! I turn around and he is waving me to come outside.
