Pausing our cash flow has made a mess that I've spent all week trying to clean. Everything has been so perfect until now, so it caused a lot of confusion having to dip into our saved funds. If I wasn't by Dante's side I wouldn't have gotten an ounce of respect from anyone. There were a couple familiar faces from meetings that helped my case, but people even laughed at them.
I plan to stick to either Amir or Vera's side most of tonight. Valen thinks he will make it, but weather in LA slowed down his flight. He was supposed to be back a couple hours ago. I guess if he lands in time he will be coming straight from the airport.
The subway is expectedly packed. I scored an end seat, and there's even an attractive businessman in his 30's to my left. Coda got a seat across from me, but he's stuck next to this lady I'm sure is on meth. The rest are gathered around the pole in front of us.
"So did any of you figure out who you're kissing yet?" I ask them, but I already know their answers.
"I'm sure we'll find somebody." Coda says.
"But what if you don't? How's it going to feel watching everyone kiss?"
"Coda now hear me out..." Amir repeats from Sunday.
"Man shut the hell up."
We all laugh. It's funny how he gets on their nerves with that.
"Amir, if I don't find someone I'll let you be the first guy I kiss." Carlo smiles.
"Sorry bud, you're not my type."
Poor Carlo fakes a little disappointment.
"I've actually decided to kiss a woman tonight!"
"Wow, very impressive." Ishir says sarcastically.
"I know I know."
Amir wraps both of his flexed arms around the pole and leans in towards the businessman next to me.
