CHAPTER FIFTEEN

"I was on a date!" Itachi says with a panicked tone, then instantly regrets it.
'WHAT THE HECK?! WHY DID I SAY THAT?! TO JIRAYA OF ALL PEOPLE?!!' Itachi mentally screams and covers his mouth with his hand.
Jiraya sat there with his mouth agape and drops the book he was holding. Itachi knew this was the calm before the storm.
"AHHH MY BOY IS ALL GROWN UP!!" Jiraya shouts in pure joy.
"Grown up-? I'm 24 dammit!" Itachi retorts, embarrassed. "Why don't you tell me what happened between you and that woman?" Itachi asks with a smirk.
Jiraya instantly shuts up. "Let's get back to work." He gets up, flips the store sign back to 'open', and walks away with a blush.
Itachi smirks even more seeing how he successfully evaded the conversation.

Although he knew he shouldn't, he couldn't help it. It was the end of the day and Itachi was verycurious about the Senju woman that had shown interest in Jiraya.
Almost finished restacking the books behind the front counter, he turns to face Jiraya.
"Are you interested in the woman who came in earlier?" Itachi asks. Jiraya scoffs.
"No, I'm not." He replies sternly. Itachi, amused, decides to check for himself.
"Oh my god, she's coming back--"
"WHERE?! WHERE?!"
"I knew it!" Itachi smirks widely. "You do like her." He eyes Jiraya.
Jiraya says nothing. Instead, he starts blushing, with a 'lock up the store' he walks out of the store.
