Third person POV
The winter soldier was given his assignment. Kill (M/N) (mothers name) (Y/L/N) (your last name). It was an easy job, get in, get out, don't be seen or heard, and if you are, kill them. Easy, not so much.
The winter soldier had just finished his assignment making it look like the women had killed herself. But as he was just about to leave he heard the floor creak. He quickly spun around on his heel to see a child no older them six holding a knitted blanket. 'How did this kid get in!?' 'Where are this kids parents' he was internally panicking but he didn't show it. He let out a breath 'I really don't want to kill a child'.

(Y/N) POV
I woke up to the sound of muffled crying. I knew that was mommy crying, why was she crying? I slowly got out of bed, my small feet hitting the cold ground pulling my knitted blanket behind me. Once I got mommy's room I slowly pushed the door open so I don't scare her.
I look around I see mommy lying in bed, there were read stains on mommy's shirt and sheets. she looked pale, was she sick? No mommy never gets sick. As I walk closer to her the floor makes a creaking noise. I stop walking and look over at the window to see a man with a metal arm. He and I stared at each other before I rip my gaze away from his turning to my mom. "ты знаешь что не так с мамой" (do you know what's wrong with mommy) I questioned the man. It took him a second to respond but all he replied with was "она была твоей матерью?" (She was your mother?) I walk closer to him staring at him in the eyes responding with a small "да" (yes). "где твой отец?" (Where is your father) he questioned again crouching down so he's my height 'wow he asks a lot of questions, it's kind of annoying' I thought before answering "мама сказала, что папа ушел" (mommy said that daddy is gone).
Then I had a brilliant idea and asked "ты будешь моим новым папой?" (will you be my new daddy?)
