It was finals season, accompanied with the stress and work that took all of their time.
Hyunjin was sitting in his seat working his ass off trying to finish at least half of his work. He felt bad because he isn't spending that much time with his soulmate, just texting each other simple messages, not seeing each other that much. And that affected him. 

*ding* 
[meet me at the park in 5 mins]

It was a message from Seungmin, it seemed like his soulmate could feel his misery and longing for him. 

He knew that Seungmin had a habit of going to the park to clear his mind and sing his feelings out. It was already midnight, he was worried about him, nevertheless he did as told, leaving his work unfinished and getting himself a jacket, slipping on his sneakers, with his phone in hand he left the dorm passing by an occupied Minho who only gave him a curious glance considering how late it was. 

It took about ten minutes walk on foot to reach his distance. From afar he can see a shadow sitting on the swings, and so he took light steps toward it.
"Hey" he greeted his boyfriend, kissing his soulmate's forehead.
"just the forehead?" Seungmin pouted, showing his dislike for lack of kisses, giving him puppy eyes and who is hyunjin to not give him what he desires so he did. kissing these soft lips almost not wanting to separate from them. After all, he's a weak man for this person (Kim Seungmin) alone. 

"I missed you" he said, feeling the need to expose his feelings to Seungmin.
"I missed you too"
"So why did you summon me here tonight? Not that I'm complaining." 
Hyunjin took a seat on the swing next to his boyfriend’s swing, wanting to be as close as he could to his boyfriend on this cold night. 
"Well do you remember? A year ago, I made you a promise, that I'll sing for you and so tonight I'll fulfill that promise" 

Now that Seungmin said that he noticed the guitar resting on his lap. He looked with hopeful eyes at his boyfriend. sure he knows his soulmate got the voice of an angel, people complimenting his voice, and heard him sing on many occasions. But knowing that an angel is singing for him alone made him feel special, them sitting in this place with stars dusting the sky bright in the dark night, had his mind racing and heart pumping hard against his ribcage.
Seungmin set his guitar in his lap and made sure the strings were set up. He began playing a soft melody that filled the silence, then he started singing his heart out.

Hyunjin had rested his head on the chains of the swings facing his boyfriend and taking in the scene in front of him, the light glow of moonlight highlighting Seungmin's features while he plays the last tunes. A smile found its way on Hyunjin’s face, he felt drunk, drunk of that feeling that settled in his guts, making his inside heat up.
he's a goner. 

"I love you" he couldn't hold it in anymore. 

"I love you too, darling"
His hand rebelled, pulling the chain of Seungmin’s swing toward him who yelped in surprise. Making Seungmin's face close to his, with only a few centimeters apart. A smirk formed on Hyunjin’s features and then he stole a kiss from those soft lips, making both of them relax into it, calmness filling his body.

Tonight, They need each other close.
