It's been three weeks since Conner stayed over and he's been over a lot. It was now the first day of school and his parents dropped him off early so he could go to school with Auggie.
Harry woke up early to make breakfast for everyone, and woke this kids up. He woke August up first because Conner was over. Then he went to wake Hunter. He decided to let the twins sleep in, because they're still too young for school.
As he was walking by the bathroom, he heard what sounded like someone puking. When he opened the door he saw Louis sitting there trying to catch his breath.
"Are you okay?"
"Yea, just a little nauseous, nothing I haven't dealt with before. Help me up?" Harry did and they walked downstairs to find that Hailey was already up and trying to steal her brothers food.
"Dad tell her to stop!" Hunter whined, pushing her away. That made her start crying.
"Da'a I wan panca'es!" Hailey whined, reaching up for Louis.
"Then let's go make you some pancakes!"
"Yay!"
"Hey Papa?" Auggie called from the living room. Harry ran over there and saw August sitting there by himself.
"Where'd Conner go?"
"To the bathroom. But I need to know something. How do I tell him I love him?"
"It's been three weeks!" Harry said, "I guess if you really love him. Just tell him the truth. And make sure you can give him reasons."
"Oh okay. I'll try that. Thanks Papa!" Harry nodded and walked away.
"Someone's in love."
"I know you are. We've been together for nineteen years and have eight kids." Louis giggled, feeding Hailey some strawberries.
"I meant Auggie. Wait where's Alex?"
"Oh the author forgot about her, so let's just pretend I woke her up." Louis said, making Harry look at him weird.
"What?"
"Never mind. She's in the bathroom brushing her teeth."
"Papa!"
"Speak of the devil. Hey Alex! Are you excited for first grade?"
"Yea! My friend said that Mrs. Hollen is really nice! Her older sister had her and she said she gives out candy." Alex said excitedly, jumping around the kitchen.
"That's amazing. Now eat and go get dressed so you won't be late!" Louis said, handing her a plastic plate of her breakfast.
"Okay! Thanks Dada!"
When the kids were all done eating, Louis helped Alex get dressed and Harry woke the twins up to get them ready.
Soon they heard a honk outside signaling that the bus was here for Hunter, Auggie and Conner, who all went to middle school.
"Please can I have pictures?" Louis asked, holding up a camera.
They all groaned but let him take the pictures and then ran out to the bus.
"Bye guys!" Harry yelled, while Louis waved.
