Continuation of last chapter

"Hey dad!" Lou said. Walking in the door with Lexie and Ryder behind her. Lexie was now seven months pregnant with a baby girl.

"Hey guys. There's food in the kitchen and activities around the house. It's just going to be family today. Since that is a whole party." Louis chuckled, moving so they can walk in. They laughed because they wanted to humor him and walked in.

"Lou!" Alex screamed, running into her sisters arms.

"Alex!" Lou screamed back, catching her little sister. "Y'know dad, it's crazy that I'm already starting my family and your still having kids. My baby and it's aunt or uncle will be the same age. Have you learned the gender?"

"Not yet, I think we'll be able to in the next appointment. This baby doesn't like showing off, like the rest of you."

"Can I go eat?" Lexie asked, patting her stomach. Louis nodded and pointed her in the direction of the kitchen. Even though she's been here a thousand times. "C'mon bubs!" She reached out for Ryder and Lou's hand. Dragging them to the kitchen.

"Daddy?"

"Yes Alex?"

"Can I have ice cream?" She asked sweetly.

"It's only ten-thirty! Go see where Hunter went. And don't guilt him into ice cream. You can have some later."

"Ugh!" She groaned, walking away.

"Dad can Conner come back for the party? I promise we won't sneak off!" August asked.

"Maybe. Go ask Papa. He's got the final say."

"Yay! Papa!" August said, running away.

Louis went into the kitchen and ate some snacks while he waited for Maddie, Carson, Maisie and someone named James, to come over.

"Hey Dad, Papa, this is James, I've been telling you about him." Maddie said, setting Carson on the couch next the Alex and Hailey. "Where's Ryan?"

"Still napping, he usually sleeps really long. So, James? It's lovely to meet you, Maddie tells me how much you help out with Carson. So thank you." Harry says sincerely, shaking the other mans hand.

"Nice to meet you guys too. Uh I love that boy, I'll do anything for him, or Maddie." James said, making the other men smile.

"Okay, I believe that. Now, go have fun. We'll watch C," Louis said, pushing them away.

The family hung out all together for the first time in a while. They talked about what they were doing for Christmas and things like that. Maddie and Maisie are staying at their apartment with James and Carson. Lou, Lexie and Ryder, will be having it in their new flat, they just moved into last week, so their still settling. And the rest of the family will obviously be at the main house.
