Your POV

I woke up to being lightly shaken by Niki, and Tommy had been woken up by Wilbur. "Go get ready" She started "We have a surprise for you!" She sounded excited, so I allowed her to help me into the bathroom so I could shower, while Tommy went to his house to get dressed, Wilbur told him to dress fancy and I panicked, I hated dressing up more than I hated Dream, and I didn't think that was possible. Of course I'm kidding, but I was wearing a long red dress, and left my hair down. Niki said I looked great, I felt pretty but I didn't agree because I also felt gross.

She led me out of my house and down the pathway, we passed off loads of houses and fields until we made it to Tubbo's bees. Niki gently held my hand and led me behind it, where I saw a picnic set out and Tommy was sitting there, he looked amazing... I also spotted Wilbur behind a bush and giggled to myself. As I sat down with Tommy I got butterflies. I really did like him a lot more than I guessed. He looked cute wearing a suit. It 'suited' him (like the pun?🔫) I desperately wanted to ask him the question, but the fear of being rejected fucked with me.

We sat and ate the picnic they'd left for us, and talked about random shit, mostly he just made me giggle. It was safe to say I really did love him. He's moved closer and put his arm around me. "You do know I still can't make daisy chains right?" I looked up at him in shock. "Really?!" He nodded. "Well, if you let me sit on your knee I can teach you" He flushed a light pink and pulled me onto his lap. I winced as he caught my back. "This isn't something that's easy, Tom. You have to be gentle, dummy." "Help me then" He whined. I eventually gave in and held his hands to guide him. His chin ended up resting on my shoulder and I got major butterflies. "It won't work" "I- uhm, try it like this.." I was extremely flustered from the position we were in. He moved me off his knee suddenly and placed his hands on my waist.

"I can't keep hiding this from you, y/n." I looked up at him, confused. "Hide what?" He paused for a moment, almost reconsidering what he was about to say. He looked down, embarrassed. I cupped his cheek and tilted his head to look at me. "You can tell me anything, buddy, you know that right?" 'Buddy' was a nickname you'd developed for Tommy, you weren't sure where it came from, but you liked it and he didn't procrastinate against it, so it stuck. "Alright, but if this ruins our friendship I'm honestly so sorry.." I nodded, listening intently. "Y/n..I like you, like, a shit ton. You've gone through so much shit that you didn't deserve and I admire you for that. You're genuinely such a nice person and I love that about you and-" I didn't want to listen to him ramble about me, no matter how cute it was. I placed a finger on his lips. "I like you too, dumbass.." His gaze fell from my eyes to my lips, before he gently placed me back on his knee before lifting my chin to make me look at him. "Can I kiss you?.." I didn't give him an answer, I kissed him myself, he didn't stop me and kept his hands steadily on my waist. I loved every single second of this moment and I wanted it to last forever.

Niki's POV

They kissed, they did it! I audibly gasped, it was adorable. Myself and Wilbur were watching from behind a bush, when a familiar voice sounded from behind me, and my stomach dropped to my feet.

"You encouraging this then?" I spun round defensively. It was exactly who I thought it'd be. Wilbur nudged me. "They're doing it again, give me your phone I need pictures." I handed him my phone without another word, I told Wilbur to ignore Dream, and only but in if needed if he found us, I wanted to begin handling situations by myself, being the only adult girl in L'manburg, Dream saw me as weak, his gaze fell past me and onto his sister, kissing the exact person she wasn't supposed to see. "You support this?" I nodded. "Nothing wrong with it. It's not harming anyone. He really loves her, and she's returned those feelings." I replied, dropping my voice to remove all emotion from it. "She's not even supposed to be with him, it's disgusting." He went to walk towards them but I pushed him backwards. "You aren't stopping this. You've been such a dick. Nobody in this server supports you or your actions, Dream. Everyone is on y/n's side and not yours, cry about it. You quite literally abused her and you expect everyone to still support you?" I scoffed "Embarrassing much" He looked mad, but him and I both knew he couldn't say anything to disprove me, as I was correct. I smiled at him triumphantly as I turned back round to see Tommy quietly talking to y/n. "Will you be my girlfriend" was what I could read from his lips as I heard Dream angrily walk away. I told Wilbur and he got all excited. Dream looked so pissed, it was absolutely hilarious but I couldn't exactly tell him that.

Your POV

"So.." He paused for a minute. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I was insanely happy. "Yes! Of course I'll be your girlfriend, dummy." He smiled and leaned his forehead into mine, and moments later I found our lips reconnecting. This moment was pure bliss and I never wanted it to stop. Anytime I was with Tommy he was always touching me, through hugs or just holding my hand, and that gave me butterflies each time. I couldn't help but adore the way his fluffy hair framed his face, or the way he cared about me a little too much, although was I complaining? Not really.

couple month timeskip

I'd completely healed by now and me and Tommy were sitting under a tree. He was playing with my hair. It was warm out and it was lovely to just be with him, the boy I loved so insanely much. Niki had explained what happened the day he asked me out, and I was infuriated Dream would even try that. Although now I was safe under this tree with Tommy, slowly falling asleep as I heard footsteps approach to come sit with us. "You two are adorable" I smiled as I drifted into sleep.

Minutes later I was out cold. Safe with the people I loved most and not a care in the world anymore.
