During the dinner, I could see Camilo trying to talk to me. "Hey! Hey Y/N." He would say but I ignored him.

After dinner, señora Alma and the other parents including ours told us to go do our own things and they discussed about the ceremony.

"You should talk to Camilo." Maria said. Her voice sounding a little deeper but I should it off.

I shook my head. "I don't want you to get hurt... neither do I want Camilo to get hurt." I frowned. "This is so hard to choose." I gripped my hair in frustration.

"So that's what this is about."

I turned and saw Camilo standing in front of me.

I tried backing away but the Casita just pushed me forward.

"C-Casita!" I muttered. I looked everywhere but Camilo.

He huffed before grabbing me by my wrist and dragging me. "Hey! Where are we going?!"

"To my room."

Once we reached his room, he pushed me inside and closed the door behind him. "I want you to tell me everything about me and your sister getting hurt."

I gulped. "It's nothing! Don't worry!"

"It doesn't seem like nothing! Why are you ignoring me?!" He yelled.

My eyes widened. 'I've never seen him shout before...'

His eyes softened.

"Never mind, it seems like you don't feel like telling me." He grabbed my shoulders, making me look up at him. "If you have any problems come to me."

"B-But I can't do that!" I replied.

"You have your duties to perform, I'll just be troubling you!" I stated.

"My duty as a Madrigal is to look after the citizens of the town. You're one of them, I have to look after you too. Helping doesn't just consist with playing with kids and taking care of babies." He smiled.

"I'm worried for you, Y/N."

My face flushed red. 'That stupid feeling again!'

"Y/N! Camilo! Come on! The Fernandez are leaving!" We heard Mirabel yell.

"Coming! Let's go Y/N." We both headed downstairs and I stood next to the Madrigals. "It was nice chatting with you, señora Alma." Papá smiled.

She smiled. "How kind of you."

"We'll be taking our leave now. Hasta La próxima(is this correct? I got it off an article from 2013.)." We turned and walked out of La Casa Madrigal.

"Take care!" Señora Alma waved.

-THE NEXT DAY-

As I was walking to the streets, I was suddenly pulled into the alley and slammed onto a wall. "You didn't lay a finger on Camilo did you?"
That scary girl from the other day got a hold of my collar tightened.

"N-No! I didn't!" She threw me onto the ground.

"Liar! You went to visit La Casa Madrigal! Don't lie to me!"

"Y/N! Y/N! Where are you?" I heard Dolores call me. The girl scoffed. "And you're even friends with Camilo's sister, great." She rolled her eyes.

"I'm letting you off pretty boy, get out of my sight."

I ran off and saw Dolores in a distance. "Oh Y/N! Come here!" She motioned to me.

I walked over and she placed an arm around my shoulder. "Don't worry, you're safe now."

"Thanks Dolores. You saved me." I sighed in relief. "You wanna talk about it?" She asked.

"No thanks. You're close with Camilo right?" She nodded.

"Don't tell Camilo... actually, don't tell anyone. I'm solving this on my own."
