It was the night of the party, everyone in town was here to see Antonio get his gift.

I wore clothes that were not too fancy and not too casual.

Walking closer to the gate, I noticed Camilo standing near greeting the other citizens.

"Cecilia! Up top!" Camilo shape shifted into Cecilia and high fived her.

"Mr Martinez, nice to see you! Looking good with that hat!" Camilo complimented after which Mr Martinez thanked him.

He spotted my family and I nearing, he waved.

I waved back.

"Good evening Mr and Mrs Fernandez."

"Good evening Camilo." Papá grinned.

We walked in and he was suddenly pulled towards a wall where many hats were hanged.

I walked in beside Maria and Mamá.

Tables were laid out with food.

Kids were playing with sparkles and some even attempted to climb up the stairs towards the door, only to fail.

"They're so enthusiastic." I nodded in agreement at Maria's words.

I grabbed one of the arepas and took a bit, humming in delight. 'How delicious...'

"Y/N! You're here!"

I turned and saw Emerson and Andres.

"Oh, holá." I waved.

"Señora Julieta's arepas are really good don't ya think?" Emerson grinned.

"Yeah, it's nice." I took another bite out of the arepa.

I looked towards the book in Andres hand. 'Manufacturing and Engineering huh? He must be really smart if he reads book like these.'

"So you're interested in Engineering?" I asked.

"Uh, yeah! I've been reading this book called Manufacturing and Engineering, it has many instructions on how to build things like bicycles! Oh how I wish I had the tools to make it..." Andres sulked.

"It's so boring. How are you even interested in stuff like that." Emerson rolled his eyes.

"Maybe if you read stuff like these, you would know how to find y." Andres flicked Emerson's head.

"Ouch!" Emerson winced in pain.

Andres turned to me. "Y/N, which one is better, reading books that can enable you to gain knowledge or... playing all day and not studying."

"Hey! Playing is fun! At least I know what fun is and I can have fun instead of reading those pieces of paper!" Andres gasped. "What did you just say?!"

Emerson grabbed my shoulders. "Playing is fun and you can gain strength and build your stamina!"

Emerson was suddenly pushed away but Andres. "Books helps you gain knowledge! You can become smarter instead of playing games all day!"

"Playing!"

"Books!"

"Uh what's going on?"

I looked to the side and saw Camilo.

'Thank god!'

"Let's not pressure Y/N. Come on, the ceremony is starting." Camilo announced.

I walked stood beside Camilo. "You alright?"

He asked. I nodded my head, noticing Señora Alma walking up the steps.

"Many years ago..." She started. "This candle blessed our family with a miracle."

"Our house."

"Our Casita. Came to life, with magic."
