Three days later the Barker's arrived at their Lake house, Henry texted Skylar when they arrived but she couldn't greet them because she's busy with wedding planning.
All the bakers exit the family bus expect for Nora and Bud who drove on their own and Charlie and Lorraine because they haven't arrived as yet. The Barker's kids stood outside their old Lake house looking at it in disgust.
"It looks small" Mike said, "why can't we rent that place?" Henry asked as he pointed to the new Lake (mansion) house across the Lake.
Everyone turn to look at it in awe, "oh that place is new, um this place is...." Tom didn't know how to describe it.
"Old..er, but still nice" Kate finished for him, "yeah, that might have a water slide but, our place has um...." Tom again not knowing how to describe it.
"The stairs there fun" Kate finished, "yeah, so unload campers! Girls is the north and boys in the south, Bud and Nora in the loft" Tom announced.
Tom talk to Bud and Nora for a while about names for the baby until Mike Rumenal dress up, they shakes hands. "So you finding everything ok?" Mike asked curiously, Tom nods.
"Shouldn't too disorganized, we only have two renters this season" Tom commented, "the lakes is alot more upscale" Tom mentioned.
"You can thank Jimmy Murtaugh for that one, remember him?" Mike asked knowly, "yeah" Tom answered with no emotion.
"He owns most of the Lake now, it's his place over there" Mike said as he point at the Lake house (mansion) across the Lake causing Tom to look at it once more.
"Oh well, good for Jimmy" Tom said with slightly bitterness in his tone, hey remember Kate?" Tom asked pointing at his wife as they walk over to her.
"Oh hey Mike!" Kate greeted him, "so listen, if you folks don't feel cooking tonight there's a big clambake at the Lake club you can come as my guests" Mike advised them.
"Guest?" Tom asked confused, "oh yeah, clubs private now, and renovated. Homeowners only, put you on the list?" Mike asked as he began to walk away. "Ok" Tom agreed as Mike left.

Skylar had finished with the wedding planning late and the only thing she could do was get ready for the clambake at the Lake Club.
Sabrina picked up what she should wear and then she took a photo and sent to Calvin so that would encourage him to hurry home.

As soon as she arrived at the clambake she head towards the piano but not before saying "behave yourself Kenneth".
He rolled his eyes smiling sneakily and went outside with his other siblings. An hour later she saw her family eneter the Lake club dressed in.... not formal wear, guessing no one told them the dress code.
She saw the Mike Rumenal greeting them then the kids ran off, she waved at her parents once they had spotted her and continued to play the piano. A few moments later Jimmy Murtaugh walked in with his wife by his side causing Tom to freak out not wanting Jimmy to see him, but it was made obvious when he tried to cover Kate's face.
"Oh my goodness! Look what the wind blew in!" Jimmy Murtaugh exclaims loudly when he spotted Tom and Kate, "Hey! Jimmy!" Greeted Jimmy.
"What brings you back to my Lake?" Jimmy asked, "your Lake now?" Tom asked.
"Well you know, I just have to buy Rumenal place and one or two other properties and then I can keep the rugrats like you out of here!" Jimmy jokes and Kate and Tom fake laughs with him.
Sabrina elbowed Jimmy, "oh am sorry hun, Tom, Kate this is my wife Sabrina, my new bride" Jimmy introduced the newest Murtaugh.
Kate and Tom shook her hand greeting her, "come on buy me a drink" Jimmy said as they walked off together.
"So Tom a read a while back that you quit that the coaching gig at Illinois polly, what was that all about?" Jimmy asked curiously.
"Well that job was taking up alot of hours and I wanted to spend more time with the family" Tom explains smiling at his wife.
"Kudos" Sabrina commented, "that's my word for the day" she tells Kate, "oh so fun, so fun to have word" Kate said thinking Sabrina is a dumb blonde.
"So Kate, I guess with Tom at home changing diapers your kinda um, tearing up the best seller list" Jimmy said, "oh I only had the one book but I would love to-" Jimmy cut her off, "waiter, another scotch please" he said to the passing waiter.
"Hey, what about Charlie? Still playing ball?" Jimmy questioned, "no, he's living downtown, and he works in a garage to pay for tuition for university of Chicago" Tom says proudly.
"I did a guest spot on monster garage back when I was acting and I just love the whole engine, car thing" Sabrina commented excitedly.
"So your an actress, that's great" Tom said smiling and glanc at his wife with a 'that explains alot' look.
"How long have you two been married?" Kate asked curiously, "six amazing months" Sabrina answered with the biggest smile.
"Happy anniversary" Kate commented not really meaning it. "Hey! There's Mike, Jake and Sarah" Tom said as he sees them skateboarding as he looked over the balcony down at them.
"They compete in skating contest on a regular basis" Tom said proudly watching them.
"Well that's good, you have to start with the small steps before taking the big ones", Jimmy says.
"And how are your kids?" Tom asked curiously, "well I got three in a private school for gift children in Lake forest, two at handover, and one at Exeter. Calvin's at Yale, finishing up a field study in particular physics, it generating alot of interest there, plus he's engaged. Eliot was featured in sports illustrated, he just won the snowboarding junior nationals. But I got to say Ann is still my superstar, when she finishes Harvard getting her NBA, she's gonna come work for me at Murtaugh Enterprises, she's definitely corporate material" Jimmy brags.
