Chapter 14

"Did they just...?" Calvin asked Skylar in disbelief as everyone looked at their father's in shame and disappointment. Tears began to build up in Skylar's eyes as she look at her dad, the one man who was not supposed to break her heart ever.

"Leave" she whispered but it was loud enough for everyone to hear because of how quiet the whole church is.

"You heard her Jimmy, leave" Tom said smugly with a smirk, "I think she was talking to you, I paid for the wedding" Jimmy argued.

Skylar step towards them, "I was talking to both of you!" Skylar yelled at them which cause them to look at her in shock.

"Now, listen here young lady-" Jimmy was cut off by Skylar, "no you listen! This was suppose to Calvin and I's wedding day. The day that we would remember forever and tell our children about. We're suppose to be happy, this is not it" Skylar tells them as she wipe away her tears.

"Look if Jimmy hadn't-" Tom was cut off by Skylar, "stop! Just stop blaming him. You know maybe this is all my fault" Skylar said sadly.

Calvin approached her and gently place his hand on her lower back, "no, do not blame yourself for this" Calvin told her.

She looks up at him with a small smile, "maybe if I had introduced you to my dad earlier into our relationship, maybe he would have seen how amazing you are for me" she told him.

"You took your own sweet time with that" Tom mumbled rolling his eyes, "Skylar is going to be my wife and there is nothing both of you can do about that" Calvin address Tom and Jimmy.

Tom sent a glare his way, "please just leave so that I can marry the man I love" Skylar begged them.

Out of nowhere the Priest cleared his throat cause everyone to focus on him, "um, am sorry, but once someone objects, the wedding can't continue" he tells them feelings sorry for the young couple in front of him.

"You have got to be kidding me" Nora said in disbelief and shock, "can't you just ignore that?" Lorraine asked.

"Am sorry, I can't, there will be no wedding today fokes" the Priest announced and walked away.

Skylar could see her dad cheering behind her, she immediately turned to furiously.

"Are you fucking happy now?!" She yelled at him, causing alot of guest to gasp in shock since she just curse in a church.

"Hey! Watch your mouth young lady! We are in God's house. Look I know you are not happy, and ok this was a bit rushed, so let's just regroup and plan-" Kate was cut off as she approached the couple.

"Rushed? None of this was Rushed!" Skylar shouts highy frustrated with everyone.

"It's always something with this family" Skylar mumbled to herself, "what are you talking about?" Sabrina asked her slightly offended.

"If it's not changing wives every five minutes to get over wife 1, it's making your child prank an adult" Skylar accused Jimmy and her dad.

"Don't you think your just being over dramatic?" Sarah asking rolling her eyes.

"I don't know Sarah, is there another makeup shop here you want to rob?" Skylar asked sarcastically causing Sarah to walk out of the church.

"That wasn't niece" Elliot commented, "am sorry Elliot, why don't you just run after her since you love kissing up to her so much" Skylar tells him, he shake his head and walked off.

"Now that is enough!" Kate snapped at her, "no! It's not, your husband ruin my 'rushed' wedding day but of course you would defend him" Skylar snapped back at her.

"All I wanted was for you to leave..... you know what? stay! I'll leave" Skylar said and walked off but stop once she got to the middle of the aisle.

"Oh, Calvin and I are moving to Seattle, I got into one of the best internship programs at the Seattle Grace Hospital. So not only did you lose a great  son-in-law, you lost your daughter and your grandchild. That's right am pregnant, HAPPY WEDDING DAY!" Skylar shouts the last part sarcastically and then left the church leaving everyone behind in shock.

Calvin looked at Jimmy and Tom and scoff then walked after Skylar with Nora, Lorraine, Anne, Charlie, Bud and Daniel following behind him.

Once they got outside they see Skylar leaning up against the limousine, "how was that?" She asked curiously, as she wipe away her tears.

"Award winning performance" Anne told her laughing, "we better get out of here before everyone gets out here" Charile reminds them.

"Yeah, Sarah and Elliot went around back to  grabbing the Priest" Skylar agreed and turn to open the limousine door but was stop by Calvin.

"Your pregnant?" He asked curiously with a big smile, "yeah, we're gonna be parents" she told him smiling happily for the first time today after what happened inside.

He grab her by the back of her neck and pulled her into a passionate kiss, "ok, ok, we get it your in love. But it's time for the real wedding to begin!" Lorraine cheers. Thank God Calvin had a back up plan in case something happened with their father.

They piled into the limousine and picked up Sarah, Elliot and the Priest around back of the church, the drop Elliot and Sarah off at the movies and went on their way.
