For what seemed like an hour, I was aggressively and dramatically singing and dancing around my hotel room in an attempt to annoy Jennifer. She came over at one point, really annoyed. She just yelled at me and for some strange reason, called me a slüt. Probably because my songs were a little provocative. Mostly just to annoy her though, so....it worked.
"I brought you a bagel," Nina chimes as she steps into the hotel room, tossing a paper bag onto my bed. I nod my head as I shut off my music and grab the bag. "How'd it go with Jennifer?"
Nina is actually rather cool. She hates half of the girls in school just like Quinn and I, but she hates Jennifer the most.
I shrug, "She came over and insulted me but that's about it," Nina sighs in annoyance at my failed attempt at fully annoying Jennifer. "Hey, did you see Quinn on your way up here?"
"No sorry, hasn't she been gone for like an hour?" Nina wonders, sipping away at her iced coffee. She must've went and got some from downstairs. I imagine it's not too good, I mean it's hotel coffee.
I nod my head, "She just left to calm down. I don't even think she brought money. Her leggings don't really have pockets"
"That'd be so cool if they did," Nina points out, her eyes going wide with delight. "Girl clothes rarely have pockets," True, very true.
I lean back against the headboard as I grab the bagel from the bag and begin to eat it. It's not bad just not as bread-y as I'd like. Just then, there's a frantic knock on the door.
I jump to my feet and rush over, yanking the door open. My mouth opens slightly as I take in Quinn's appearance. She seems out of breath, and her hair's all astray. She looks like she ran here. "Dude, what happened?" I ask, wide-eyed as I move to let her in.
"Calum," she pants out, extremely out of breath "Calum Hood,"
I raise an eyebrow, glancing over to Nina who's just as confused as I am. I walk over to little mini-fridge in the hotel room and grab a water bottle, tossing it over to Quinn.
She quickly takes a few sips while her breathing begins to calm down. "I met him," she tells me, pulling the water bottle away from her lips. "I met Calum Hood,"
"I'm sorry, what?" I ask, in complete and total disbelief. Nina just stares at her. She's not a fan of 5SOS but there's no doubt in my mind that she doesn't know who Calum Hood is.
Quinn sighs, "There was this coffee shop. I went in and there was this smoking hot guy. I went up to him and when he turned around well...he was Calum Hood,"
"What the hell did you do?" I practically interrogate her. She just met Calum Hood, I need to know the details.
Quinn sighs, "I freaked out. I could barely fücking speak. When I could, I sounded like an idiot. I dropped my phone too!" I glance toward her phone and see it's cracklees, oddly enough. "He got it for me and we talked...kind of. I asked for a selfie and a hug and he gladly did so. That was that,"
I clamp a hand over my mouth to prevent myself from screaming, "That's it?"
"Well," Quinn bites her lip and my eyes go wide. What is she not telling me? "He knew me,"
"How the hell did he know you?!" Nina cuts in, taking the words right out of my mouth, that's when it all clicks together, like a perfect puzzle piece.
A small smirk appears on my lips, "QuinnOfHearts,"
"Yep," Quinn replies, the embarrassment clear in her voice. "He watches my videos,"
"Your life is a fücking soap opera," Nina mutters as she collapses back onto her own bed, staring shocked up at the ceiling.
What was I supposed to say? Was I supposed to scream? Was I supposed to congratulate her? Was I supposed to faint?
As if answering for me, her phone buzzes. I snatch it from her hands and she lets out a whine. My eyes skim over the screen and let out a shrill scream.
"What is it?" Quinn wonders, moving to look. I quickly raise her phone above my head, my towering height giving me an advantage. "Cassie!"
For all she knows, it could be anybody. It could be one of your friends from Instagram or Twitter. I know differently.
"Sorry babe," I read, the phone still raised high above my head. "I couldn't pass up the chance to become friends with you," I glance toward Quinn who just looks at me entirely confused. "Want to know the Caller ID?"
Quinn just nods eagerly and I smile, glancing back up at the contact name, 'calum 😎'
"Quinn, how long did Calum have your phone for? You know, after you dropped it?" I ask, pulling the phone down but continuing to keep it out of view.
Quinn shrugs, "After we took the selfie. So, about a minute or two." I smirk at her response before handing her phone back to her.
In all honesty, I should be freaking out. I actually am, on the inside of course.
"CALUM FÜCKING HOOD ADDED HIS NUMBER TO MY FÜCKING PHONE!" Quinn practically screams, taking in the newly-added contact to her phone.
I simply laugh and sit back on my bed, "The guy's very sneaky and a huge flirt. He called you babe. I ship it." Quinn smiles as she reads over the text and she looks as if she could faint. Who wouldn't?
"What do I say?" Quinn stammers out suddenly. I reach my hand out as she passes the phone over. I quickly type out a simple 'no harm done' and then hand it over. Her phone buzzes a second after. She glances over the text, "How long are you in California?"
========================
it's cute, who ships it? also, do you like Cassie's character bc if you do I'll probably add more chapters where it's her pov and she's basically doing things that involve Quinn and or Cal, sooooooooooooooooo.....
