"$#&@!"

The reflective light scattered like air and painted the walls white.

"#-$&# #@$#@$&!"

"$#&@!"

It was a surreal sight. The space seemed endless like a void in space. But this was no unfamiliar sight—I too resided in a space such as this. Only it was pitch dark.

"$#&@##!"

The time I spent there was indefinite, with my only memory from then is being bored out of my mind. I hope this lasts less-

"@&$&&#!"

Oh will you shut up? I'm having a monologue over here!

"$&@#, $&@##."

"You aren't even speaking properly!" I roared.

As if to reciprocate, a glowing white orb suddenly materialized. I didn't think it was possible, but it glowed brighter than the surroundings.

"What the heck?!" I yelled in surprise.

But despite my sudden outburst, it didn't flinch. Not that I expected it to. Instead, it hovered around me like a pet.

Surprisingly, it didn't feel...weird or out of place? It's probably because I already died once. No matter what absurd stuff gets thrown at me, I already caught something even crazier.

"What are you?" I asked.

...

"Hello? Can you talk?" I questioned again.

...

This little shit.

"I said if you can talk!" I asked in a loud tone as I swung at it.

"Of course you jackass!" It replied.

Shocked, I stopped just as I was about to hit it.

"Pussy, threatening someone and not following through."

"Oh shit!" I shrieked.

It circled me thrice again, with each rotation darkening it's glow until it turned grey and added, "Shut up fucker."

I took a deep breath and confronted it. "So you're the embodiment of vulgarity, is that it?"

"If that's what you consider yourself." It answered immediately.

It's glow sinisterly darkened more along with the background like the night's fall.

H-Huh?

'What...did he just say-'

But suddenly, as the previously white glow turned fully black, a red face gleamed menacingly in front of me. The orb was no where to be seen.

I could feel my throat parch at the sight as my hairs stood up and screamed; 'Run!' but I couldn't.

I couldn't feel my legs.

Then, the red faced creature wore a wide grin. Approaching me leisurely as it's mouth slowly opened in sync.

Its skin crawling features made me shudder in fear uncontrollably.

Is...this the end? What happened to that orb? Is it fine? I asked myself. I thought that I could at least save that before I died.

I...wonder if I get to live another life after this. Another life being Oliver—with my own memories still intact.

Unknowingly, I accepted death and started tearing up.
