To be honest, i was scared. I'm scared that if i got close to Jimin, everything would change. I'm comfortable with my life, i like this lifestyle, no one would notice me, and i dont have to listen to harsh comments every single day (although i dont really care).
I dont like to be noticed, I'm the type to hide in a corner and get my stuffs done. And i know clearly that if I'm always with Jimin, everyone would gossip about it. And i dont like that.
So, before i got close to Jimin, I've decided to stop it here. She can continue to be a shining star, and i can continue my normal and low profile life.
Besides, after hearing what Ning said, all of these indeed sound suspicious. But whenever i think about it, everything seems to have a bug. According to Ningning, she's trying to use me. But why me? What can she get from me? She's 100 times better than me so why me?

"I mean... you told me to be careful so i cut ties with her. Isn't that reasonable? Besides I didnt know she'd cry" i scratched my nape
"Idk man, those are just my assumptions. I think you better apologise before people starts finding you"

I tapped Jimin's back as i saw her walking down the hallway with her friend
"Oh? Ah... Minjeong ah" she turned around and awkwardly smiled as soon as she saw me
"Can we talk?" I asked
Jimin nodded and signalled her friend to give us some space
"Unnie ah, I'm sorry about yesterday. I was a bit under the weather and a bit grumpy yesterday. I'm sorry if i hurt your feelings but i just wanna know what exactly do you want from me? I know it's not just some coincidence that we always bump into each other and you'd always be there when I'm in trouble."
I said that in one breath and Jimin's face changed from confused to somehow soft
She sighed and slightly chuckled
"Minjeong ah... unnie lied, there's no 'shopping with a few friends' yesterday. As you know, it's valentines and... i-" she smiled and continued "i just wanna spend this valentines with you..."
She held my hand and continue saying
"I wanna get to know you, i think you're really really cute at first glance, thats why i kept on appearing by your side" she blushed and looked away "I just wanna protect my cute little puppy..."
I was stunned, i didnt expect to hear a whole confession from her. I parted my mouth and was too shocked to speak
She chuckled lightly and said "Our Minjeong ah, after hearing all these... would you go on a belated valentines date with me?"
"D-date??"
"Mhm, and maybe get you some nice clothes and contact lens" she smiled cheerfully
I blushed hard, it was my first encounter on getting a confession from a pretty girl. Not only that, its from YU JIMIN. GOD IM GOING CRAZY
"S-sure" i blushed and look away
"Then see you at 4, ill be fetching you. Send me your address later" she patted my head and wrote her phone number in a pice of paper then slid it to me
