Dolores' POV:

I was beginning to worry and when I looked at my hermano I knew he was as well, even though he is good at hiding his feelings, it's difficult when I can hear his rapid heartbeat. I have to do something, I have to get Mirabel to come up with a plan, she'll be able to get us out of this.

"Mirabel? Mirabel!" I yelled over the random noises in the room, I covered my ears with my hands and squinted my eyes, so I could still see Mirabel... or at least try.

She wasn't paying attention to me, she just looked around and I followed where she was looking and involuntarily squeaked. The sounds got louder, the rushing water, pages, the wind, Camilo and Mirabel mumbling and worrying about the situation. It was driving me insane.
"Mirabel!" I tried waving my elbows, trying to get her to notice me whilst keeping my palms on my ears but my attempts to get her attention failed. I thought the next best plan was to physically stop her, so I tried jumping in front of her to speak but every time she would just keep saying "Dolores, move" or "Dolores, I'm trying to save us here, move"
Not in a rude way. I don't think, I hope not.

Maybe it was...?

"What are we going to do? Now there's water keeping us caged in this room." Camilo sighed, he rubbed his hands over his face and just kept quiet, when he heard Mirabel speaking to herself.

"This room has so many scary qualities," Camilo added, walking away from an angry Mirabel.
"And that counts for Mirabel as well..." He whispered and I suppressed a little giggle, even over all the noise and the chances of us being kept in here forever and eventually dying of starvation, he always makes me laugh. But I think Mirabel was too caught up in her thinking to notice what he said, I think he was maybe relieved.

I felt something really cold touch my toes, which was odd because I had my shoes on? I squeaked and jumped, moving away whilst looking down for what caused it. And I could see the water tornado around us, was slowly, starting to sort of... leak down and start to flood the floor a little. I could feel it seeping into my shoes and making them feel slippery and uncomfortable.
"Uh-um, guys? There's wate-"
"Mirabel thinks faster, I really wanna leave~," Camilo whined anxiously interrupting me so I waited for Mirabel to tell him to shut up and then took my chance to try again.
"Guys? There's water leaking-"
"Camilo! Stop humming, it's interrupting my thinking." Mirabel said, looking over to him, uncrossing her arms and walking over to him.

"GUYS!? There's water leaking in from the weird water tornado thing around us!" I opened my eyes and saw the two looking at their feet, Mirabel said a hushed 'oh no' and Camilo's response took longer than I thought it would. And it used words I wouldn't like my little Hermano using.

"We're fucked." Camilo whispered to himself, I looked over at him and glared, he saw me and smiled at me. Turning to Mirabel and away from my brother, I was about to speak before I shut my mouth when she scowled at me.
"Don't! Don't interrupt me, I'm thinking. I'll get us out of here." She confirmed, starting to pace the little spherical area we had left of the otherwise gigantic room.
"I just need some time." She whispered, I could barely hear it since her voice was muffled by my hands. Her pacing was starting to make the water, which was rising a lot faster than it was earlier, swish and soak against her lower calf and the ends of her dress.

"Mirabel, I don't know if you haven't noticed but the water is kinda filling up quicker. We don't exactly have lots of time left and the room, that is so~ fond of us won't give us an extra 5 minutes, not, to die." Camilo sighed, glaring his eyes when he said 'room' and grimacing slightly at the end. He then looked over to me and we both communicated, silently, with our eyes. He looked nervous and kept glancing to Mirabel as she carried on mumbling to herself and I took, varied, peeks at her as well.
