"They look so happy." Tim sighed.

Brandon turned to him, "Huh?"

Tim pointed at the family playing inside the arcade section of the mall. The parents and their children are going head to head on the basketball game. One of the kids got a point, and his younger sibling cheered for him.

Brandon smiled, admiring the bond the family has. "Yeah." He agrees.

"I want our future family to be like that." Tim said as he looked over at him. Brandon looked at him, too.

"O-our future family?" Just the word our and the thought of him having a family with the boy beside him warmed his insides.

"Well, yeah? Don't you want it..?" Tim hesitantly asked, thinking Brandon doesn't want to have a family with him.

Brandon saw the pain in his boyfriend's eyes, and he quickly said, "No! That's not what I meant."

"What I mean is... just the thought of us, having a family together just makes me feel something I couldn't explain.." Brandon explained.

"Is it.. a GOOD feeling or a BAD feeling?"

"Good, baby. Good." He smiles and gave him a kiss in the cheek.

They decided to go back home, since they are kind of getting a little tired. Hand in hand, they walked to the entrance of the mall. Tim suddenly stopped, making Brandon confused.

"What's wrong, love?" He asked.

"Did you hear that?" Tim asked, back.

He is so confused, "...no?"

"I swear I heard something.." Tim said.

"What?"

Tim started walking to the right side of the mall, where there are benches placed. He saw people just sitting there, minding their own business.

But on the second to the last seat, there sat a young little girl with blonde hair holding on tightly to her pink stuffed bunny. She is sitting there crying, yet no one even decided to approach the little one to ask what's wrong.

Tim felt pity for the girl, and decided to come up to her, his boyfriend following behind him.

"Hello there, little one." Tim softly spoke.

The little girl looked up to him, and backed away in fear. They couldn't see her full face since her hair is pretty messy and covering half of her face.

"Hey, hey. Don't worry, we won't hurt you.." He quickly said when he noticed the child move away from him.

So scared of the strangers, the little girl stood up and ran away from them. "Hey, wait!" Tim said, and they both ran after her.

She ran all the way to the parking lot under the mall, and stopped because she's out of breath. The couple caught up to her, and she cried when she saw them.

"Hey, calm down. We are good people, we would never hurt you." Tim slowly approached the little girl, and knelt down to her level.

"Hi, I'm Tim. What is your name?" He asked.

The girl hesitantly answered, "C-Cierra.."

"Hello there, Cierra. Nice to meet you." He made sure to keep his voice soft so the girl wouldn't get scared.

"This is my boyfriend, Brandon." Tim introduces the boy beside him.

"Hello, Cierra." He smiles.

"H-hi..."

"Anyways, why are you crying? Is something wrong? We saw you crying in the benches." Brandon asked.
