Chapter 14: In the world of strength

After hearing what happened to Suryeon, Logan can't deny to himself that he is really worried. He went to Secretary Kang's side, and asked how Suryeon was. "Sec. Kang, how is she?" Logan asked. "She is alright. You have to go back to the company right now. The company needs you. Since the other CEO is not well then the other will substitute." Sec. Kang commanded that Logan easily follow. He goes back to the company and makes sure everything is fine. He gazes to Suryeon's office every second, but stop when the person he was looking for appear in front of him. "I thought you were sick." Logan asked. "My father was able to trace me because of what happened to me today so I have to drive till her so I can make sure that they can't follow me." Suryeon said while catching her breath.

"How come they won't be able to follow when they know exactly your location." Logan said in worry.

"Shhh.. I have my men surrounding my company all night and all day. Do not worry." Suryeon said and was about to go out when she remembered something.

"Agent L21, I know you know that when I called with your agent name something is up, right?" Suryeon asked and raised her eyebrow.

" What do you mean, Suryeon-ssi?" Logan said in confusion. Suryeon gets the gun from her pocket and throws it to Logan.

"I bet you'll need it later." Suryeon said. Suryeon receives an on-call message from one of her team. She shrugged in disappointment. "Agent L21, you have to move out right now. Go move!" Suryeon said and positioned her gun in her hands. She put the bullets. "Logan! Just move!" She said in a shout. One of Suryeon's comra went inside Logan's office to get him. "I am going to stay here." Logan said without even mucking but even put the bullets and loaded his gun. "Go move, we have to be in the basement on time before they'll be able to come up here and ruin everything. Agent R2, secure the area." Suryeon commanded

"Yes, madam." Agent R2 said and ran to secure and check the whole area. They were walking downstairs when the whole company's electricity shut down. "Madam, they were counter-attacking us." Agent R2 said.

"No, it's not them. I really told the other team to shut down the electricity so we can safely go to the basement." Suryeon said.

When they finally reach the basement, her father's men start to attack them.

Logan helps Suryeon to attack them while Agent R2 helps to find a way to start their engine. Suryeon unloads her gun and pulls the other gun with a silencer and loads it. She jumps into Logan's back and kicks one of the combatants. Suryeon and Logan shoot them one by one, remaining in one position.

"Pass me the loaded gun, Agent L" Suryeon said. Logan throws his own gun to Suryeon and Suryeon just easily shot it to them. Suryeon caught one of her father's troopers. "Who are you?! What are you planning? No! What is my father's plan?!" Suryeon said while pulling the hair of the man. Logan is busy fighting with the other hand on hand. When Suryeon didn;t get the answer she injected something to the man and called one of the comrades to secure the basement.

"Put him in the car! Right now!" She said, And her men just followed her.

"Madam, Agent L! Hop in!" Agent R2 said and opened the window. Logan and Suryeon easily hop into the window while the enemy were just running after them.

"Are you okay, Suryeon-ssi?"

Suryeon nods. And continue to put bandages on a little wound she got.

"Why does your father hate you so much?" Logan said.

"They are not my father's men. I don't know who they are. But probably that would be the reason we have to move out for today. "

"Why do a lot of people want to catch you or worse even want to kill you?" Logan said in disbelief.

"Because maybe that's the life I live in. Being chased without anything to be chased." Suryeon answered.

"What if it is Oh Yoon Hee?"

"No, not her. There's not enough reason for her to do that. Why would she do that just because she is obsessed with you? I have one person in mind. And yet this is not the time to know who that is. Agent K already knew that I would escape the hospital. It was all planned. There's something wrong going on with the system in our computer since morning–"

"How did you know?"

"I have my ways, Logan." She smirked "They already knew where I was living so I have to plot that act on the spot because we have to make better plans. I know you are in shock for today, so you can rest." Suryeon continued before focusing on the phone she was looking at.

"You did a great job today, Agent L21"  She look at the backseat and winks at Logan.
