Both sophie and keefe knocked back a step. sophie was in shock, so keefe had to ask, "all of them?"
Addie nodded. "Empath, Decipher, froster, and vanisher.though i'm manifesting again today."
Sophie looked at her with wide eyes. "You- You're only twelve!" Addie looked shy. "I manifested first when i was 5." Keefe eyed Addie. He said goodbye, and pulled sophie away. He put a finger to her lips when she tried to speak. Sophie looked at him confused. He pulled her away from the noisy room and into the serene halls of everglen.
Everglen had all these twists and turns. But keefe led sophie through the halls, clearly knowing where he was going. The halls had crystal walls and little doors leading into other rooms. Keefe stopped at on of the doors. "this is is it?" He said.
"this is what?" Sophie asked. "Look up." She did, and there hanging on the door seal, was misletoe.
