𝟑. 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧
Sòl felt the change of the ground below her, one second she was on a hard wooden floor, now she was lying on the grassy land. She groaned softly, her arm aching from the fall, but she was thankful that something had cushioned her fall. But it turned out to be someone, and it was the God of Mischief.
And it was worth it.
Sòl propped herself slowly and carefully from the ground as the pain in her arm subsided. Lifting up her head, her gaze immediately fell upon the two brothers. Sòl saw that they were gazing somewhere ahead, causing her to follow their gazes.
What she saw next was unexpected.
She was frozen to the ground as she stared at the Allfather. The two Gods walked up to him, joining his side. Sòl raised an eyebrow as they watched the distance, sitting on a large rock behind them. She could hear them talking but the wind blowing in her ears made it impossible for Sòl to understand them.
"I know we failed you. But we can make this right." Thor told him as they sat down.
"I failed you." Odin corrected Thor. "It is upon us. Ragnarok."
"No, I've stopped Ragnarok. I put an end to Surtur."
"No. It has already begun. She's coming." Odin said ominously.
"If-If you're talking about his daughter, we have her here." Thor gestured his hand towards the back. The three Gods looked over their shoulders, finding the said daughter standing a few feet away from them. She was just standing, watching them from afar without the intent of even moving.
"Ah, I see you have found the Goddess of the Sun."
"Goddess?" Loki questioned with a quirked eyebrow.
"It is good that you found her. She will be able to help you." Odin turned around, facing the ocean once again with a forlorn look on his face. "But no, she is not who I'm talking about...My life was all that held her back. But my time has come. I cannot keep her away any longer."
Thor raised his eyes and met with Loki's, his held confusion as he was.
"Father, who are you talking about?" Thor asked.
"Goddess of Death. Hela. My firstborn. Your sister."
Thor and Loki once again shared an uneasy look. Thor then questioned, after a brief pause."Your what?"
