The Dungeon

AN: Here's the next part of this fanfic. I hope you all enjoy it. Now without further ado, onto the Dungeon Arc.

A couple days later after saving Saussy Village from the rouge mages, Asta and the rest of the mages from the Black Bulls were taking it easy. But what they were doing on this day was what to call the little bird that followed Asta's group home. Asta was doing push-ups while the bird was sitting on her head. As Asta was working out, she said, "I thought about it and I'm thinking we should call her, Toritaro."

Noelle shook her head and said, "What makes you think she's a she? He could be a he. And anyway, he should have a much cuter name. How about, Silvantus Schanuzer?"

Magna rolled his eyes and said, "Sounds too prissy. How about a tough name. Like, Magnam Fire."

"Or something refined. How about, Wine?" Vanessa said as she held up a bottle of wine.

Gauche looked at the picture of his little sister and he said, "I know a refined name and the name Marie is refined to me. So, how about, M."

Finral let out a sigh and said, "Typical coming from a sis-con." And that earned Finral a glare from his squad mate.

It was then that all of them, minus Asta, Gray, Charmy and Gordon, began to argue with each other on which name suits the little bird best. Suddenly, Asta got an idea and she said, "I got it. How about, Nero?"

The squad tilted their heads and asked in unison, "Nero?"

Asta got off the floor, and said, "Why not? I think it sounds like a good name. Like the name of a warrior or a king. And judging from her face, she looks like she's a king or queen."

The squad looked at each other and they nodded and Noelle said placing her hand on Asta's shoulder, "Nero it is."

Just then, Yami walked through the door, inhaled his cigarette and exhaled the smoke and he looked at the group and said, "Listen up you lot, we've got a mission. Just recently a new dungeon has appeared and we've been chosen to explore it."

Curious, Asta asked, "What are dungeons?"

Magna looked at the girl and explained, "You've never been in one?" And Asta shook her head.

He explained to her, "Dungeons are like ancient tombs and they contain all sorts of different relics and treasures deep inside. But they also contain different traps to make sure thieves don't get them."

Yami nodded and said, "Exactly."

He then looked at Asta, placed a big hand on her shoulder and said, "Asta, the Wizard King wants you to go investigate."

Asta got a little nervous, but a little excited too after hearing she was chosen. She then asked her captain, "Where is the dungeon, sir?"

Yami then told her, "It's located on the border of the Clover Kingdom and the Diamond Kingdom. And there's a good chance that the folks from the Diamond Kingdom are sending some of their own to explore it too."

"Am I gonna do this alone?" Asta asked.

Yami shook his head and told her she wasn't because he picked two others to go with her. He then looked at Noelle and Luck and he said to them, "Noelle, Luck, you go with Asta to the dungeon. Got it?"

Noelle nodded and Luck cheered happily and hugged Asta and said while squeezing her, "I get to go on an adventure with Asta! I'm so happy!"

Magna then shouted at him, "Hey, Luck! You're gonna kill her by hugging her that tight!" And Luck teasingly stuck his tongue out at Magna which made the delinquent growl.
