A few days later after the magic knights exam and Asta and Yuno joined the magic knight squads, Asta was sleeping peacefully in her bed one morning while the little bird with the bored expression that Asta met at the exams was perched on her window sleeping peacefully too. All of the sudden, Magna's loud voice echoed down the hall waking not only the bird but Asta too. Asta let out a groan and she rubbed her eyes and wondered where she was. It was then that she remembered and thought, oh yeah. I took the magic knights exam with Yuno and now I'm a part of a squad.

She then slid out of bed and set her bare feet on the stone cold floor and she stretched her arms out to remove any sleepiness from her body. Asta then got dressed in her clothes that Vanessa modified for her and she put on her headband with the Black Bulls logo and her robe too. After she did that and looked herself over, Asta heard Magna calling her name again and she left her room quickly to see what he wanted. Once Asta got to the end of the girl's side of the hideout, she saw Magna standing there waiting for her and he smiled his signature delinquent smile and said, "Yo Asta! What took you so long? I've been waiting ya!"

Asta then said, "Can't you just come get me instead of shouting Magna!"

Magna then pointed to the wires hanging around the entrance to the girl's side and he said, "If I did that, those trip wires will go off and then I'd be in trouble!"

Asta nodded understanding what he meant and she thought, I wouldn't want any perverts, precisely Finral, to come here either. She then looked at Magna and asked, "So, why did you wake me up so early anyway?"

Magna then said to her that every magic knight gets up early so they can do their duties. He then said, "And since you're up, let me show you around the base!"

Getting all excited, Asta nodded rapidly and soon, she followed Magna excitedly around the base to see what was there. The first thing Magna showed was where the boy's side was and he told her, "If you need anyone to talk to, come see big brother Magna!" And Asta nodded to that.

Next, Magna showed her where Yami kept his magical beasts. However, once they got there, the beasts started to snap there jaws through the bars and Magna threw them some meat to calm them down. Magna also showed Asta the bathing area and that they were separated; one side was for the men, the other the women, much to Asta's relief. Magna also showed Asta the toilet, but she shrieked when she saw Yami was sitting on it and she covered her eyes.

Yami sneered at Magna and he said in a dark tone, "Magna, I'm gonna kill you!" And that made the delinquent apologize and close the door quickly.

As the two of them were running to see the next thing, Asta ran into a pole and she got curious and asked, "That's odd? That pole wasn't there yesterday?"

Magna stopped and looked to see what was taking Asta so long and he saw that she was staring at the pole and he said, "I forgot to mention, this base changes randomly. So don't get to confused when you find yourself somewhere else."

Asta nodded while rubbing her forehead and soon, the two of them headed towards the foyer for breakfast. As soon as they got there, Asta saw the rest of the Black Bulls were there and Asta saw everyone was doing their thing; Gauche was nosebleeding while looking at his sister's photo, Grey stood there blowing out smoke, Vanessa was drinking while in her underwear and Charmy was eating the food her sheep cooks made.

It was when Asta walked in that Finral was the first to greet her and he took her by the hand and said, "Good morning dear Asta! Did you sleep well my dear princess?"

Asta blushed at his actions and she shouted out with a little squeak, "Yes!"

Magna slapped Finral's hand away from Asta and he said, "Knock it off Finral! You're scaring her!"
