Fifteen years ago:
In Hage Village in the Forbidden Realm, two baby baskets were sitting in front of a church's doors. The priest of the church saw the two babies in the baskets and his face frowned in sadness. He knelt down to the crying infants and said, "Don't worry little ones. I'll take care of you."
After he brought them inside, the priest fed the infants some warm milk until they calmed down and the6 were sleeping soundly. The priest smiled and said, "About time you both settled down. Now then, what are your names?"
He went over to the baskets and he looked down at the boy first and he read the baby boy's name tag. On the tag, the boy was named 'Yuno' and soon he went over to the other basket which held a baby girl. But before he read the girl's name tag, her little fist started to glow black and then her whole body started to glow black and streaks on light started to shoot all around the room. The priest ducked for cover hoping to not get hit until a bright light opposite to the girl's black light started to shine and the black light settled down.
The priest stood up, brushed the dirt off his clothes, looked down at the girl and said to her, "Quite the little firecracker aren't you?"
He pulled down the blanket a little and saw a five star seal on the girl's chest and he thought that that seal must keep her magic at bay. He then looked at baby Yuno and saw he was wearing a blue pendant with a golden cross and he said, "You must've stopped it for her before either of us could get hurt, huh Yuno?"
The priest then looked down at the little girl's name tag and saw that her name was 'Asta.' After he learned of their names, the priest smiled kindly at the babies and said, "Very well then, Asta and Yuno. From now on, this will be your home."
Fifteen years later:
It was harvest time for all the people in Hage Village and all the people had their grimoires out to take care of the harvesting. Suddenly, a loud scream was heard during the harvesting and it made all the farmer's head's turn. One of them then complimented, "Sounds like she's at it again." And they all knew who they were talking about.
At the church, Asta grew up to be a beautiful girl, but she chose to dress as a tomboy with blue pants that sagged off her hips, a white t-shirt with a baggy blue jacket over it and black shoes. She also wore a black headband to hide her long hair so it'll appear to be short with a red stripe on the headband's front. Asta was glaring at the young orphan boy who lives at the church too named Nash and she screamed at him, "No way in hell!"
Nash gave Asta a perverted look and then said, "I'm just saying you should dress more like a lady instead of a boy. And if you do, maybe you can marry me."
Sister Lily, who was a nun at the church, walked by carrying a laundry basket and Asta saw her. She then ran up to Lily hid behind her and cried, "Sister Lily, Nash is being a pervert again!"
"Don't think you can hide behind the sister forever Asta! I will make you my wife," Nash said and held his hand out as if he was serenading Asta.
Sister Lily then took out her grimoire and used water magic to push Nash back. She then smiled kindly and Nash and said, "I'm sorry Nash. That wasn't intentional. I was just helping Asta."
Suddenly, Asta felt a hand go around her waist and felt a strong tug towards a muscular body. She looked up to see the stoic face of Yuno, who grew up to be a handsome young man, and Asta's face flushed from their closeness. Yuno then said to Nash in a stoic tone, "Besides Nash, you're not worthy enough to be Asta's husband. Cause that role is for me."
Asta then furrowed her brows and yelled at Yuno, "Who said I was gonna marry you Yuno, you handsome jerk!"
Yuno then petted her head and to Asta with a kind smile, "Cause it's our destiny." And he followed after Sister Lily to help with the laundry while Asta clenched her teeth in annoyance.
