"See ya in a few hours, 'Samu." Atsumu waved as he sat atop Gaia, waiting to take his leave to Kyōi."See ya then 'Tsumu, an' be careful." Osamu warned for what felt like the millionth time that morning, earning a laugh from all there except for himself.
"I am sure he should be fine, you need not to fret so much." Suna sighed softly, slipping his hand into Osamu's to comfort him. "Have a good trip 'Tsumu, and please refrain from doing anything idiotic along your way. Yes?"
"I would never do such a thin'! What makes ya think I would?" The faux blonde scoffed playfully, placing a hand on his forehead as if he was faint.
The brunettes comment and Atsumu's action had Suna and Osamu laughing, which was his ideal note to leave off on before his trip. Positive, he didn't want any of them worrying anymore than they already had.
"Gawk as ya please, I see how it is." Atsumu rolled his eyes playfully. "'M headin' off now, I will be gone no longer than a few hours."
In response to his statement, the faux blonde received two nods — leaving him with a content smile.
"Good, oh an' Suna, do make sure 'Samu does not worry too much. Thank ya." Atsumu requested, yet before Suna could give him a proper response, he'd already started riding away.
Osamu and Suna watched as Atsumu rode off and away into the kingdom, heading on his last journey to Kyōi. Despite having been successful with his past two trips, even Atsumu himself had some doubts.
Yet he swore to his word, everything would be fine — right?

"Alright Gaia, I should be in an' out in no more than a few hours, like before." Atsumu reassured, yet more to himself than anything as he hopped off his horse.
"Ya should be fine 'Tsumu.." The blonde repeated, mumbling under his breath as he once again tied Gaia's reins to the wooden pole struck into the ground. For a reason he wasn't quite sure of, Atsumu just couldn't shake the uneasy feeling creeping up on him slowly.
"That is enough," Atsumu declared, straightening his posture as he let out a huff of slight frustration. "Everythin' will be fine, now go." He told himself, finally finding the will to ignore his nerves and carry on.
With a new found determination to prove his worries wrong, the faux blonde quietly walked along the tree line and to his usual entrance point through the kingdom gates. As he approached, he couldn't help but notice the eerie silence — yet proceeded anyways.
That was his mistake.
Atsumu got no closer than two feet from the gate entrance before he watched someone walk out, the brunette in view stood at around 5'9 and was heavily armored.
"It is about time you arrived, we almost thought you would not show, Miya." The brunette's face fell to a grin as he watched the blonde before him tense.
"We-?" Atsumu choked on his words as he totally stiffened, his panicked mind choosing to freeze as he heard footsteps behind him.
Before he could turn to look, the faux blonde felt a strong arm quickly come down and around his neck, while another gathered his arms behind his back — leaving him stuck and in panic.
The hold was strong enough to knock someone out from a lack of oxygen, but not enough to kill, and in recognizing this — Atsumu's mind now turned to flight as he started thrashing in his captors arms.
"Stop squirming," A low, hushed voice with a strikingly cold tone rung through Atsumu's ear, sending a shiver down his spine as he froze. "That will only make this more difficult, Atsumu."
That tone, the coldhearted nature that radiated from a single sentence — Atsumu knew who it had to be, yet before he could call him out, he found his senses fading away from him.
Leaving one word to weakly escape his lips before he passed out.
"..Sakusa.."

"He should have been back by now, somethin' happened 'm tellin' ya." Osamu swore to as he paced in nervous circles at the castles main entrance.
At first, around high noon they'd all assumed Atsumu was simply late — yet as the afternoon fell to evening and he still had gone without being seen, Osamu, Suna began to worry.
That worry of which had only intensified as nightfall had come, and the blonde was still nowhere to be seen. By then Osamu had assumed the worse, while Suna made pointless attempts at trying to reassure him otherwise.
"Osamu, you are worrying far too much." Suna sighed softly. "Yes he has been gone far longer than planned, yet I highly doubt he has put himself in harms way."
"Ya do not know that though, not a single person does!" Osamu snapped slightly, yet quickly made an attempt to calm himself. "'M sorry Rin, I did n-"
"-Osamu," Suna cut him off, taking both the grey-haired's hands in his own. "Your brother has yet to return from a risky trip, you have all rights to express yourself."
"Thank you, love." The grey-haired let out a soft sigh before pulling Suna in for a hug, to which the brunette quickly returned.
"He will come back, 'Samu," Suna promised. "Whether it be late in the night, or in the morning. I am more than sure he will be back."
"Hopefully." Osamu sighed, setting his head to rest on Suna's shoulder.
All he could do, was hope.
