Taeyong took slow steps inside the classroom, his anxiety working up as all the heads turned to look at him. He hung his head low, not wanting to look up and face people.
"Are you a new student?" Taeyong finally raised his head to look up at a giant staring down at him. Taeyong nodded unhurriedly, making the boy let out an oh.
Taeyong watched him look around the classroom, before clapping his hands real loud gaining the attention of every student in the classroom who was just messing around a moment ago.
"So we have a new student!" He said glancing at Taeyong, "Please introduce yourself." Taeyong's eyes widen but he nodded quickly before standing straight in front of the whole class who had their eyes on him, except for one boy in the corner.
"I'm Lee Taeyong, from South Korea, your new classmate. I hope we get along well." He announced in fluent English. He practised a lot just to speak these words and he was satisfied that his voice didn't even break once.
"Oh, you're Korean?" The boy beside him, supposedly the class leader cause of his behaviour, asked him. No, I'm French. Taeyong thought to himself irritated but still nodded to the class leader's question.
"Oh then you can sit with Jaehyun, he's Korean too so he can help you." He said pointing to the same boy in the corner who didn't glance at Taeyong even once.
Hearing his name being called out, Jaehyun looked up from his drawing to the class leader and then at the new student, his brows being furrowed.
"What about Jack who's already sitting with me?" Jaehyun questioned. The rest of the students have gone back to messing around after Taeyong's introduction.
"Oh yeah, him, where is he?" The leader asked gazing around the students, trying to find Jack.
"He's absent due to fever," Jaehyun said, before standing up from his seat and walking towards them. Taeyong can't help but drool over Jaehyun's well build body, thankfully the drool isn't coming out from his lips to expose him.
"And shouldn't the teacher be the one to decide where he's sitting?" Jaehyun asked, glancing at Taeyong and then at the leader whose name was still unknown.
"Yeah, but she said me to make him sit somewhere and introduce himself while she comes back." He said while glaring at a student who was aiming a paper plane at him making the student scared and smile nervously before aiming the paper plane at someone else.
"And for Jack, we will see it once he starts to come to school again." The leader gave a small soft smile to Taeyong, making him less awkward and smile back.
"Do you know English?" Jaehyun asked Taeyong in Korean, making the latter grateful as he wasn't able to understand half of the things everyone is saying around him.
"Only the basics," Taeyong mumbled, looking away in embarrassment, which made Jaehyun smile at him for the first time.
"No need of being embarrassed, I will help you." He reassured Taeyong, the latter's heart fluttering for some unknown reason.
"Okay, he can sit with me. Jack was an asshole, I wanted to get rid of him anyway." Jaehyun turned around to the leader, smiling at him, showing his adorable, irresistible dimples.
Jaehyun's comment made the leader laugh out loud, agreeing with whatever he said before he went to slap the ass of a student who's about to hit his friend's head while his attention is on a girl, giving her heart eyes.
Jaehyun went back to walk to his seat but halted in the middle of his tracks, whirling around to glimpse at Taeyong, gesturing him to come with him.
Taeyong nodded before following him from behind and taking a seat beside him. He glanced at Jaehyun's drawing that was still on his table.
But the drawing made Taeyong blush furiously, as he formed his lips in a thin line. Jaehyun raised a brow at his actions before rolling up the drawing and keeping it in his pocket.
"Why are you blushing?" Jaehyun asked him, now putting all his attention on him.
(a/n's note: from here the bold words will represent them talking in Korean)
"T-that was a boy kissing a boy, wasn't it?" Taeyong inquired, trying his best to maintain eye contact with Jaehyun.
"Yeah, you know, I really want to have a boyfriend," Jaehyun told with a sigh.
"So I'm not alone... I guess." Taeyong said, feeling more confident now.
"Oh, dude, half of this class has something for their same gender. Johnny is literally known as a proud gay along with his boyfriend, Ten." Jaehyun said with a chuckle, unintentionally keeping his hand on Taeyong's thigh but the latter didn't mind it.
"Johnny and... Ten, who?" Taeyong creased his brows hearing unfamiliar names.
"Johnny the class leader with whom you just talked and Ten the boy whose ass Johnny slapped," Jaehyun said, pointing at both the boys of the subject who were now... making out widely in the opposite corner.
"Ten is just his nickname by the way. His real name is Chittaphar Leechaiyaponkul or something." Jaehyun informed, making Taeyong nod.
"So, do you have a boyfriend?" Jaehyun asked all of a sudden, startling Taeyong.
"No..." Taeyong muttered, looking away. Jaehyun laughed and hugged him from the side since he found his actions adorable.
Taeyong was now blushing real hard as he tried to hide it by looking down. He doesn't know why he's blushing. He couldn't have caught feelings yet, right?
No, no, he hasn't caught feelings. He's just fluttered from Jaehyun's beauty and it's just the gay in him acting up. Sure, he hasn't caught feelings. Note the damn sarcasm there.
But even if he did, who is he to admit it? Lee Taeyong never admits his feelings for anyone. Such a stupid he is.
But suddenly, Jaehyun pulled away, taking away the warmth along with him, making Taeyong pout. He looked up at Jaehyun who was looking in front, also making him glance in front to find out the teacher was there.
And not only that, but she was staring at him with her brows furrowed, making him nervous. Jaehyun probably noticed it, since he held his hand under the table in a comforting manner.
"You're sitting at the wrong seat." The teacher said in English, pointing at him, making him more nervous and unwelcome as he didn't understand what she said.
"Johnny made him seat with me cause he can't speak English and we both speak the same language." Jaehyun grip's on his hand tightened as he defended Taeyong. No one was even attacking him but because of the language unfamiliarity, he felt attacked.
"Okay, Jack will have to change seats then." The teacher said and turned to the blackboard making Taeyong sigh in relief and give a grateful smile to Jaehyun who smiled back at him.
