I was driving my old car ‘Wanda’. It was easy just like riding a bike you never forget.

The drive to the school wasn’t long. It was a ten minute drive I turned to the corner and Forks High School came into view.

Okay. Here goes nothing.

I got out of my car and walked to building one. “BELLA!” I heard someone call. As I looked to my right a saw a swarm of teenagers, some I could recognize. My old friends, or should I say the group of back-stabbers. To top it all off they were with no other than Jacob Black.

What a great way of starting my day.

I made my way to them knowing all too well that you can’t avoid them no matter what you do.

“Hey Bells, look what the cat dragged in” Jessica said pointing to a group of students that were making their way to the entrance of the first building.

NO WAY! Is that? Edward Cullen? Woah! He looks great for a nerd.

Jacob grabbed my attention by putting his hands on my waist and pulling me to him. I realized he was about to kiss me.

I slapped him hard. Seriously! You may not be cheating on me yet, but I know what kind of jerk you are.

“Babe, what’s your problem?” Jacob asked obviously annoyed.

I glared at him. I really didn’t want to tell him that I came from the future. He would send me to the mental hospital.

“What your problem, Bells? AH! I know. You have your period. That’s it!” Jacob said sarcastically laughing.

I didn’t find that to be funny by one bit. So I walked off ignoring them calling my name.

I made my way to the front desk where I got my schedule and after wards made my way to the Science building. I saw Rosalie being cornered by Jessica and Lauren.

“What is your problem? Flirting with my boyfriend.” Jessica said obviously furious. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Rosalie replied. Jessica slapped her hard.

“Woah! Dude, what’s your problem?” I said to Jessica. Rosalie glared at me. You think helping her out with Jessica could make her a little grateful.

“Bella, I seriously don’t know what your problem is. You’ve been weird today.” Jessica said angrily.

Jessica and Lauren stumped off. And I was left with Rosalie. “Are you okay?” I said to her.

Rosalie was one of my past friends. We were two pees in a pod. She hates me now  because for some unknown reason, I decided to join the dark side.

I’ve picked on her and hurt her so much. I was a horrible friend.

“Why do you even care, Bella?” She replied and then left.

What is her problem? I was just helping her out. Okay fine, whatever.

I went inside my classroom. But guess what I was late. Of all days, Why did I have to be late on the first day? God! What did I do?

“Miss Swan, nice of you to join us” it was my old biology teacher, what’s his name…. B---… Bar---. AH! BARNERS!

“Sorry for being late, Mr. Barners” I said.

“Take your seat” Mr Barners said.

The only seat left was next to Edward Cullen. I had no choice so.

“Hey” I said while taking my seat. He looked up but that was pretty much his response.

“Okay, now that everyone is here.” Mr. Barners said looking at me. “Let’s start the school year off with a Pop quiz” He smirked

What?

Mr. Barners handed out the quiz papers and then the whole class became quiet, focusing on their papers.

1.    What is Mendel’s first law? Explain. (for 10 points)

2.    What is Mendel’s second law? Explain. (for 15 points)

What the? I hardly even remember Mendel! Who can I remember his laws?

“Class, remember that this 20% of your grade” Mr. Barners said

Okay, I’m gonna fail.

I was all but losing hope when. I saw Edward’s paper.  It’s just a one-time thing, decides I need this. I tried leaning a little to my right but to my surprised he lifted his hand away from his paper and was letting me copy his answers.

Just when I was about to copy his answers.

No! This is wrong. I came back to correct my mistakes, not to make more mistakes. Said my subconsciousness

In Math, negative and negative multiplied gets you a positive. But in Science, negative and negative repel.

So, I decided to face the music and just give it my best try. I tried answering it logically but I seriously didn’t know any of this stuff.

“Time’s up. You may now leave” Mr. Barners said

I handed my paper to him and got out of the classroom.
