"you still don't know about dazai's old place of work?"

You held each other's gaze for what felt like forever. Almost as if your brains were still processing the information they just received.
The office was completely silent now, everyone more interested in this little development than their paper work.
Dazai blinked a couple more times before covering his mouth to hide the chuckles spilling from him, ultimately giving up as he burst into full on laughter.
To the point he was rolling on the floor.
You rolled your eyes at his dramatics before looking back down to finish the last few lines of paperwork. Waiting patiently for Dazai to calm down.
"I mean of course I knew you weren't dead but you being the newest agency member was truly beyond my knowledge." he said before continuing to laugh
"Yeah? Well who would've known I would find you of all people working in the armed detective agency." You shook your head, beginning to walk toward the man rolling on the floor
"Wait y/n, you know Dazai-san?" Atsushi spoke
"Unfortunately." you replied feigning sadness
"Hey! That's mean!" Dazai frowned, now standing up and leaning against the wall "but yes she does. In fact I'm her old work partner." Dazai answered in your stead, more satisfied with his own explanation
