Searing, ripping
Then, deliverance
No pain, only the rush that followed.
Eating them from the inside out
But the rush made it worth it.

They were so nice? They said
They said and they said
but they never saw, they never bothered to see passed their facade
They were in pain, before, and after
Never during because they embraced the pain and relished the relief it brought
They were an idiot to touch that stuff, they said.
