Chapter Twentytwo
Kyra Young
Young Estates - Two Months Later

Sighing, I climbed out of bed and made my way to the bathroom for 100th time. I have been sick to my stomach for days and it's killing me. It's so bad, I've had to stay at my dads house so that Tina can help me. I'm sure it's food poisoning from the restaurant Eric and I went to for Valentines Day.

After emptying my stomach, I headed down to the kitchen for something to drink.

"There's my baby." My dad said while pulling me into a hug. "You okay?"

"No, I'm tired of throwing up."

"Food poisoning ain't no joke Ky. It'll be over soon though."

"I hope so."

He kissed my forehead. "I gotta go to the warehouse and do inventory for a bit, I'll grab you something while I'm out that should help."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome." He hugged me again then went and kissed Tina before leaving out.

I grabbed me a water bottle then sat at the counter and laid my head on it. Soon I felt Tina rubbing my hair.

"Kyra." She called.

"Hm?"

"Can I ask you something and promise not to get mad?"

I looked up at her with my eyebrows furrowed. "I'm listening."

"I know you're probably very responsible but things do happen and as me being a female, I see the signs."

"Spit it out Tina."

"Could you be pregnant? You're really giving morning sickness."

My eyes grew as I sat up. "Are you serious?"

"I am, I have to ask. I've never seen you this sick."

"So you see a woman throwing up and it just cannot only be from her eating something that disagreed with her?"

"It absolutely can be but things can happen is all I'm telling you. Are you on birth control?"

"......no."

"Why not?"

I shrugged. "I used to take it before and I hated the way my body reacted to it so I never took it again."
