Kuroo Tetsurou - Kuroo Yutane

"I'm going to do it! I've decided! I cannot hold in my feelings for her any longer!"

His friends looked at him weirdly, almost concerningly. "Huh? Are you sure? You know she has that devil older brother... Always watching her back I heard. It's pretty dangerous ground anywhere near her."

"Well I can't do this anymore! It's too agonizing!" The boy dropped to his knees dramatically, "Perhaps God will help me."

"You believe in God? I never knew that about you."

"I do! I go to church you know."

"Ah well, good luck." One of his friends waved as he walked away, secretly praying for the life of his love-sick friend.

"I don't need luck!" His friends rolled their eyes and sighed. Oh boy.

She poked her head around the corner, her eyes curious and bright. Her long black hair swayed in the breeze. Kuroo Yutane found the person she was looking for under the tree, where she'd been told to meet. Part of her was jumping in curiosity, but she could not help but tremble with nervousness.

"Aikoshima-kun? Did... you want to see me?" Her innocent self walked towards the male as his eyes softened at the sight of the girl. She was tall like her brother - almost coming up to the male student's eyes, and was neither fat nor skinny. Her eyes were always so innocent but piercing, as if she knew everything but she didn't want you to know.

The pair stood beneath the tree, alone for miles around. "Kuroo-san, I need to ask you something," his voice was confident, his hands unclammy.

"So, what is it? I've not got all day," she said clicking her tongue.

He took a deep breath. "I like you, I really like you. I wasn't sure how to say this, but I had to get it out somehow. I was hoping... that you would be my girlfriend." His voice was stable but nervous. "You don't have to say yes.. I-" he stuttered.

Suddenly, there was a yell and then another shout and then stomping of shoes. Boys. Yutane sighed and rolled her eyes. Somehow, her brother always managed to weasel his way into every single one of her love lives and confessions. He always had to be there. "YUTA-CHAN! WHO'S THAT HITTING ON YOU?! HOW COME YOU DIDN'T TELL ME! - OI! GET AWAY FROM MY IMOUTO!" His yell was loud and furious, as he came stomping into the empty courtyard and barged his way under the tree. Taketora followed quickly behind him. And then there was Kenma, sighing in boredom.

"YEAH! HOW DARE YOU TOUCH OUR MANAGER! I, TAKETORA, THE ACE, DID NOT GIVE YOU PERMISSION!" Taketora boomed, stating his position in the team with more emphasis than needed.

"AND I AM THE CAPTAIN SO YOU CAN SHUT UP NOW, TORA!" Tetsurou whacked the nearly-bald boy with the back of his palm, silencing his underling almost immediately. He turned to his younger sister, who sighing deeply, trying to restrain herself from killing her brother. "Yuta-chan?! Who is this guy? Is he asking you out? If so, NO. YOU CANNOT HAVE HER."

"Goishhh! Nii-chan! You ruined a perfectly romantic moment here! Poor Aikoshima-kun here was confessing to me, despite shaking in his boots! It was awfully brave of him and you just charged in here and totally trashed it! It wasn't like I was going to say yes anyway! Bro, you don't have to get so protective!" Yutane cried in exasperation before turning to the poor boy beside her and giving him the most apologetic look. "Sorry I had to dump you like that. But I'm not interested."

The boy grinned, hiding his sadness and shame. "No worries. I-I've... gotta go anyway." He scurried away like a lost kitten and Taketora swore at him behind his back.

Tetsurou looked as the boy disappeared from sight. "Poor kid. Must've been harsh to be dumped like that," he turned to his sister once again. "What were you thinking, doofus?! At least be nicer about it! Not that I care, but still! If I was dumped like that in front of a girl's older brother... oh heck, that would be embarrassing."

Yutane poked her tongue out. "I do what I want. Plus, it was the best way to do it at that point of time. I would know because it's a common happening for me." She clicked her tongue, a habit she liked. "Can't say the same for you though, nii-chan."

"What the heck?! You calling me single?! Well, I'll have you know that there are literally no girls at our stupid school who appreciate a science intellect and science joke, therefore no fit princess for me," Tetsurou replied angrily, elbowing her hard in the ribs that she started giggling.

"Kuroo, stop lying already. It's getting late and I want to go home," Kenma's monotonous voice came out of nowhere.

"SHUT UP KYANNMAAA! We're having a brother-sister moment here!" Kuroo chided with a shout. Yutane escaped from her older brother's tickling grasps and held on to Kenma's arm firmly.

"We can go now, Kenma-kun!" She ushered them out, dodging every single one of Tetsurou's attacks. "Kenma-kun! Hurry the hell out of here!"
