Why did Camilo disappear for four days? What did he find out? What kind of shampoo does he use? Where did he go?
Well, I can answer all of those questions.
Who am I? You could say I'm one with many faces. You could say I'm the Shapeshifting Sensation that's Wooing the Nation.
You could also say I'm Camilo.

I was so young, so carefree. But I've grown now. I have learned from my mistakes. Five days ago, I was a boy. But now? Well, now, I'm a man.
(A/N Don't tell me Camilo didn't write in his diary in the most dramatic way. I can basically hear Dolores telling him to get on with it and stop being a drama kid.)Footsteps... getting louder... aaanddd... now!
I stretched my arm out and pulled Mirabel behind the pot plant where I was hiding. The idea had occurred to me last night, and I just had to tell my partner in crime as soon as possible, so I planned an ambush on her while she was heading to Luisa's room to ask her for help with rearranging the nursery.
"Camilo!" She laughed, smacking my arm lightly. I glared at her for being loud, and she lowered her voice. "Sorry, sorry," she whispered. "What's up?"
Something knocked lightly on the wall behind me, so I looked around to make sure no one was nearby. For good measure I peaked around Dolores' door to check she was still asleep. She was.
"We're gonna prank Abuela," I said in an undertone.
"But that's a really bad idea! She hates me!"
"But she doesn't hate me."
"She will after whatever idea you have though."
"Maybe. Or... maybe not."
"Camilo..."
"It'll be fine!"
"Camilo!!"
I rolled my eyes. "It's fine, I promise. And even if you wanted to, you couldn't stop me. I'm older and actually have a gift," I held my chin up and crossed my arms to assert my dominance.
Mirabel's face fell. Her eyes moved to the floor, her shoulders slumped.
"No, hey," I wrapped my arms around her apologetically. "I didn't mean it like that, I'm sorry."
She nodded into my shoulder.
"And, for what it's worth, gift or no gift, you're just as special as the rest of us. Heck, my dad and your dad are awesome at fitting in, and they don't have gifts either."
Mirabel sniffed and I felt her smile.
"Now," I moved my hands to her shoulders and stared directly into her eyes, all business, but then started to laugh. "Your glasses are all crooked!" I reached up, and, instead of fixing them, made them even more lopsided. She grinned.
"Oh hey, have you figured out that identity thing yet?" Mirabel asked.
"Nah, but I'll get it eventually. Anyway," I transformed myself into Abuela, feeling my spine weaken, my hair lengthen. "You ready to hear the plan? Afterwards you can decide whether or not you want to do it."
She took a deep breath with her eyes closed, then opened them and said, "I'm ready."
"Alright," I said, turning back into myself. "So I'll walk around the dining area while everyone is there, randomly switching between people and distorting the features. I'll put on a voice to make it sound like I have a cold, so then everyone thinks I'm sick. I'll go to my room and 'sleep the day away'," I put finger quotation marks around the words.
