THERE WAS ONCE A TIME WHEN ISABELLA STACY would look to Peter Parker for everything. Being the boyfriend of her older sister, the two of them got on well, forming their own familial bond. However, it all came crashing down the day she lost said sister, unable to cope with the grief especially after also losing her father. In that grief she made some mistakes, ones that would change the course of her life forever.
A personal crusade against the masked menace, who she blamed for the death of both family members. Aligning herself with a scientist whom promised he could provide her with the power needed to take him down, she finds herself consumed with darkness that she can't come back from. Losing the battle in the end, like every 'villain' Spider-Man has faced, she dies in the arms of the boy who she truly loved like he was her family — he was family.
It's a surprise to wake up again, in a world where the Peter Parker she finds is not the Peter she knows, but one who also seems to carry the entirety of the world on his shoulders. He is encased in grief and responsibility that he shouldn't have at such an age. And for that reason, she decides that helping him would be the best thing she could do — for Gwen, for Peter but most importantly, herself.
