MIGUEL HAD AN UNFORTUNATE ENCOUNTER WHEN HE WAS FINISHING HIS TRAINING. The night before, he was alone in cleaning since Cat couldn't make it due to some issue she was having. Miguel mentioned it was older guy that just barged into the dojo and was having a argument with Sensei Lawrence. She thought it was strange if that guy, maybe he was lost or something like that.
Cat was currently about to have dinner with her family when they got interrupted by someone knocking on their door. They all shared glances wondering who was at the front door when Carter got up to answer. He opened the door Daniel who wanted to see his daughter.
"Hi Daniel. Uh..." Cat shook her head at him to show him that she didn't want to see him or be near him at all. Carter cleared his throat, "She's not here- Can you just give her this." He handed him a white envelope.
He took it and told him goodbye before closing the door then having a seat where he was before. He placed the envelope to Cat who grabbed it, putting it on the floor. Julieta tried to make the room have less tension by talking about their days.
"What are you girls thinking about for your costumes?" The Halloween dance at West Valley High School was coming up but she didn't know exactly what she was going to be. Cat shrugged, "I was going as Snow White, and Blair wanted to be Dorothy."
Julieta smiled, "That's good. I heard Samantha was going with her friends, are you guys going tog- - We don't have the same friends. We don't really talk." Cat finished taking a bite from her chicken where Blair looked down to see her food. "We are actually going to go with Miguel, Eli and Demetri." Blair spoke looking at her dad.
