XIV. Anubhav's Marriage 3

Continued...

Some days later,

Today, Hassena was getting ready in her room, with a stern face on.  She attached her dupatta to her dress suit. Yup, she was in civil. She was going for a function and the function was non other than Anubhav's engagement.

Her mother opened the door a little and saw her daughter getting ready. Ammi was surprised because her expression were stern. She came inside and put her hand on Hassena's shoulder. Hassena jerked out from her thoughts and looked at the direction were Ammi was standing.

"Beta, tu thik haina? Agar tujhe nahi jaana toh maat ja. Kyu aapne dil ko taklif de rahi hai?", Ammi said in concern.

Hassena signed and turned towards her mother. She hold her shoulders.

"Hum thik hai Ammi! Aapko pata nahi kyu lagta hai ki hum thik nahi hai... Kab se sabhi yahi keh rahe hai. Ammi, Anubhav sir ne hamare saath jo bhi kiya, hamare bich mein jo bhi hua voh sirf hamare bita hua kal tha. Aur hum usse bhula chuke hai...", Hassena said and put the bangles in her hand.

"Agar voh zindagi mein khush hai, toh hum kyu unke vajah se dukhi ho. Abhi voh sirf hamare senior hai, aur kuch nahi...", Hassena said putting kohl in her eyes.

"Chaliye aab hum chalte hai, hume deri ho rahi hai...", Hassena said but stopped. "Ammi aap na Saesha ke saath park ghumne ja rahi hai toh vaha jyada der maat Rehna jald hi laut ana...", She instructed sternly and smiled.

Ammi smiled weakly.

"Good Afternoon everyone. Aaj ki iss Khoobsurat dopehar mein aap sabhi ka swagat hai. Main Ayush iss Engagement party mein aa sabhi ka swagat karta hun", the host said.

Hassena, Maa, Pushpa ji, her son ( Karishma's husband ), Santosh and Cheeta were sitting in engagement hall. They all were unhappy except for Hassena. She was smiling.

"Pushpa ji, yeh Karishma Singh kaha reh gayi. Engagement shuru hone vali hai aur voh abhi tak nahi ayi?", Hassena enquired.

"Pata nahi Maddamsir. Subah hi kahi chali gayi. Humne unhe samjhaya lekin kuch dino se thoda mood kharab hai unka", Pushpa ji answered.

"Thoda? Pushpa ji, Thoda? Kuch dino se Karishma madam ne pura Thaana sir par udha liya tha. Ka matalab humne Karishma madam ko itna gusse mein kabhi nahi dekha...", Cheeta said.

"Sahi keh raha hai Cheeta. Main toh bohot daar gayi thi. Mujhe laga ki Karishma madam mein na koi bhoot ghus gaya hai...", Santosh said.

"Santu", Pushpa ji reprimanded.

"Sorry!", Santosh murmured.

"May I have your attention please!", The host said grabbing their attention. "Bride and groom are here for their engagement ceremony.", The host finished pointing at Anubhav and Sheena.

They, except Maa, were going to meet Sheena for the first time.

"Lalla, yeh Karishma kaha reh gayi?", Pushpa ji whispered to Her son, but he shook his head in negative.

The relatives forwarded rings towards Anubhav and Hassena. Anubhav made Sheena wear the ring. All clapped. MPT members clapped half heartedly. When Sheena was going to make him wear the ring, she stopped at a voice.

"Ruk jao. Yeh sagai nahi ho sakti.", Karishma's voice echoed in the whole hall.

All exchanged worried looks, whereas, Sheena and Anubhav were angry.

"Yeh kya bol rahi ho tum? Kyu nahi ho sakti hamari sagai?", Sheena asked angrily. "Tum toh Anubhav ki behan ho na, jisse Anubhav itna pyaar karta hai toh kya tum aapne bhai ko khush nahi dekh sakti?", Sheena taunted with a smirk.

Karishma was boiling in anger. She fisted her palm toh hold on her anger.

"Dekho humara tumse koi lena dena nahi hai, isilye Tum iss sab se dur raho... Hum aapne Bhaiya se baat kar rahe hai?", Karishma replied angrily.

"Voh baat kare ya hum baat kare, voh ek baat hi hui Karishma Singh, kyuki Sheena hamari mangetar hai. Hamari hone vali jeevansangini hai. Aur aapki hone vali Bhabhi bhi. Isiliye jara tarike se baat kijiye varna aap bhi jaanti hai ki hamara gussa kitna kharab hai...", Anubhav warned.

"Bhaiya, yeh ladki aapko fasa rahi hai. Yeh, iska pura pariwar apradhi hai...", Karishma said shocking MPT members and Maa. Anubhav was too looking at her shocked.

"Yeh kya bol rahi hai aap Karishma Singh?", Anubhav asked.

"Sahi keh rahe hai hum. Yeh ladki aapko bhadka rahi hai, hamare khilaf, hum sab ke khilaf. Yeh ladki koi aapse pyaar vyaar nahi karti. Istemal kar rahi hai aapka", Karishma said angrily.

"Anubhav yeh jhoot bol rahi hai", Sheena said holding his hand. "Tum jaante ho na ki main tumse kitna pyaar karti hun. Yeh hamari shaadi todna chahti hai, aur yeh iska tarika hai. Tum iski baaton par yakin nahi hai na?", Sheena asked nervously.

Anubhav just blankly looked at her and than at Karishma. Hassena was looking at the scene Suspiciously.

"Kya saboot hai aapke paas. Hume purna vishwas hai ki yadi aap keh rahi hai toh koi praman lekar ayi hogi na?", Anubhav asked.

"Bilkul laye hai. Aaisa saboot hai ki do minute mein sabit ho jayega ki yeh sab kitne bade apradhi hai", Karishma said and removed a pendrive.

She asked for a laptop. She played the footage. It was Dhiraj Kumar, his wife and Sheena standing in a room.

"Toh kya kaha Anubhav Singh ne?", Dhiraj asked.

Sheena laughed evilly and then Turned towards her uncle and aunt.

"Kya kahega? Keh raha tha ki usse mujhse jald jald se jald shaadi karni hai. Bechare ko kya pata ki main usse koi pyaar nahi karti. Baas uss secret information ke liye usse pyaar ka natak karna pad raha hai", Sheena said faking sadness.

"Mujhe toh yakin hi nahi ho raha hai ki Anubhav Singh itni asani se tumhare pyaar ke jaal mein phas gaya!", Her aunt said.

"Mera kamal hi aaisa hai aunty. Maine usse aapne jaal mein iss style se fasaya hai ki marte dum Tak voh iss jal se bahar nahi aa sakta", Sheena said flaunting herself.

"Dekhana fir bhi sambhal kar rehna beta. Anubhav Singh bohot chalak hai"

"Aap chinta maat kijiye uncle. Baas kuch dino ki baat hai", Sheena smirked.

"Yeh sab sach nahi hai Anubhav...", Sheena tried to hold Anubhav's hand but he jerked her hand.

"Yahi hai tumhari sachai? Kyu kiya aapne yeh sab? Kitna prem aur vishwas kiya tha aapke upar, aur tum aapne swarth ke liye hamara istemal kiya", Anubhav said angry and disappointed.

"Tumhara khel aab khatam, Dhiraj Kumar.", Hassena said removing her gun and pointed towards them.
