Vinespirit was proud of herself, she managed to have caught 2 voles and 1 mouse. That would definitely be enough for all of them. She happily bounced back to the path, the mouse swinging in her mouth and the voles fuzz annoying her. She dropped the voles infront of the two, but she put her paw over them as Blu's mouth watered and he tried to eat the mouse. He gave her a distraught look. "Hey! What was that for?" Bandit seemed to share Blu's dismay, but didn't speak up. "Before we eat, we should find somewhere to shelter." She responded simply, then picked the prey pieces back up. She flicked her tail, signaling for the two of them to follow her. She led Blu and Bandit to a dip sheltered with long grass and ferns, she led them inside and laid down happily. She put down the prey and Blu dashed over, digging into the vole. The other vole and the mouse skidded across the grass, getting caked with dirt and fronds of grass. Bandit let out an agitated snarl, and Vinespirit narrowed her eyes. "Now how are we supposed to eat?" She hissed at Blu. Blu flattened his ears onto his head hard, his eyes clouded with innocence. "Im sorry.." He lowered his head sadly. "Sorry fills no bellies." Vinespirit retorted, then turned, her tail lashing. "I promise I can make it up to you!.." He said, bounding over to Vinespirit. "No, your too small and young to hunt." She bared her teeth, then padded out the dip. To her dismay, Blu followed, begging her once again. "Pleeeaaseee!" Vinespirit whipped around, leaning towards Blu till his snout was almost touching her whiskers. "No. Means. No." She got back up, and with a guilty look, Blu retreated into the dip. Vinespirit instantly regretted being rude to the small pup, he didn't understand much. Vinespirit padded away from the dip, heading to the path again. This time she spotted scraps of meat, and she dove forward. She then backed away though, that would make her a hypocrite if she had just told Blu off for doing the same thing then she would go off and do it herself. She walked forward again, crouching down and eating the scraps in small, neat bites. She then got up slowly, and to her surprise, a massive figure was towering over her. "BEAR!" She shouted, her fur bristling. She whipped around and made a bee-line for the dip. She then realized, Bandit and Blu were still in there. She couldn't let the bear get to them, no, not like her brother. She turned around again, digging her claws into the ground. She poised her vines, the thorns gleaming. The bear stopped, curling its lip in the beginnings of a snarl. She moved her vines closer, a hiss escaping her mouth. "Leave! Or you'll regret it." The bear seemed to get it, and started backing away, whimpering in fear. It ran, its paw steps shaking the ground. She panted, retreating into the dip.
