"Oppa, where are we going?" I was currently wearing a blindfold as Jungkook drove me to God knows where after some of the staff had forced him to babysit me.

"I wanted to meet my friends today but since we're stuck together, I guess I have no choice but to let you meet them." He sighed dramatically and I gasp in the same manner

"The 97' liners? Really? Woah I'm really special aren't I?" He playfully scoffs

"Maybe,"

"You are taking me! I feel so special!" I teased him and I could feel him roll his eyes despite my eyes being restricted from sight

"I should have taped your mouth in the process of shoving you into the car too." He muttered loud enough for me to hear

"Wow, it's a kidnapping, amazing," I answer sarcastically before the car comes to a stop. He gets out of the car before coming over and opening my door helping me out.

"I thought you were going to leave me," I say while we walked towards wherever

"I wish I did."

"You're so mean to me, I haven't done anything."

"Just shush for now okay? Thank you." I keep my mouth shut until we arrive at the floor he was going to, there was a lot of greeting which made me realise it was an entertainment company and when the blindfolds were off my eyesight was terrible.

When I did get my sight restored I was met with three confused looking faces. I realised whose faces they were and almost died on the spot.

"Did you kidnap a child?" Eunwoo said looking very wary of Jungkook as he walked in front of me snapping me out of my trance.

"Oh umm, hello my name is Aria." I bowed and they returned the greetings

"Yeah, we know who you are, Chun."

"I mean who wouldn't ?"

"It's a pleasure meeting you all." I tried my best not to gush and look professional but of course, JK had to spoil that for me

"She's obsessed with you guys, she practically begged me to bring her here."

"Excuse you, no I did not. I was forced to go wherever you were going and if I did force you why would I be wearing blindfolds?"

"Shhh." He sat down next to the seven males before I was called over to sit down too. Despite them being older than me, they were still very much relatable and easy to talk to. The door opened a few minutes later revealing a girl around the same age I was but i really wasn't sure.

"Jaehyun Oppa I-," she quickly realised he wasn't alone and started to greet us all

"Maya-ah, why don't you and Aria hang out together," Jaehyun asked looking at my hidden face in Jungkook's back

"Of course Oppa, I'll just ask you about it later." Jungkook pushed me towards the girl and we both walked out.

"So..." I spoke up after we had walked into the room she was practising in

"Yeah..." She said after a few beats before we looked at each other. I might as well try to make conversation

"Are you debuting soon?" I asked formally

"Oh yeah, I am. Pretty exhausting if I'm being honest. You make it look so easy. Plus there's no need for formality, I'm just a few months older."

"Oh cool, it can be exhausting but it's nothing compared to being an idol. As trainees, we fight for the spot but once we're idols we have to fight to keep the spot. It's so draining having to smile and act perfectly all the time."

"I can only imagine, NCT sunbaes tell me about it all the time even Aespa sunbaes too."

"You have amazing sunbaes, are you part of a group?"

"No actually, I'm debuting solo."

"Has a young soloist ever happened in SM before?" I asked genuinely surprised and curious

"I think so, it can't be only me, there's BoA sunbae and although Taeyeon sunbae was part of a group before she's a soloist now."

"You're still an amazing young soloist, especially if you're under SM, one of the big 3."

"Hybe is pretty cool too y'know, you have BTS, TXT, seventeen, Fromis9, and let's not forget about your group enhypen."

"Please, we're nothing compared to those groups or JYP groups, or SM in general."

"Are you kidding me? You guys are dominating right now. Everyone knows about you guys and the fact that it's a semi-co-ed group, it gains a lot of popularity. You guys combined makes everything so cool from the dancing to the vocals to the stage presence and the raps too."

"Thank you so much, I bet you are the same."

"Of course I am, self-confidence is key."

"Yes ma'am, go get your fanbase queen."

"Thank you, I'm Watanabe Mayumi by the way but please call me Maya or whatever, Mayumi is a mouthful."

"I'm Aria or Hayoon, anyone is okay. Nicknames are on the table too."

"Then I'll call you Ria." She said with a smile while pulling her hair up into a messy bun."

"I'll call you Yumi then, it's cool that your Japanese too, I can practise with people other than Niki now!"

"You can speak Japanese? That's so cool!"

"Why thank you very much."

"I can speak a bit of English too."

"We're so multilingual I love it." We both fell into giggles and talked more as time goes by until Jungkook came to fetch me

"Alright Kiddo, home time."

"I'm not a child Oppa," I grumbled

"Last time I checked you were now come on."

"Alright fine, Yumi, you're my new best friend, when's your birthday so we could go out and talk more?"

"Oh, it passed a day ago. I'm 16 internationally now but we could have each other's numbers."

"That would be amazing! Here's my phone just put it in and I'll put mine in yours."

"Sure," We put our numbers in each other's [phones and hugged goodbye

"Y'know Oppa, I'd like to say thank you. I can finally talk to someone my age, you're the best." I gave him a quick hug before running towards the car as he stood there frozen from my sudden burst of affection.

"This kid I swear." I hear him chuckle before opening the car doors for us as we drove back to my dorm after getting some boba.
