Kyle's P.O.V

I awoke to the coldness of the agonizing darkness. Last night flashes across my mind as I feel my naked half. I blush and put my sweatpants on. The warm spot where Brutal laid was empty and vast. I frowned with discontent. Why would he just leave? A sigh of sheer tiredness left my mouth. I got up from the loving and comforting bed that had the newly fresh scent of Brutal. Shuffling my feet, I arrived at Brutal’s door. I didn’t knock as I presumed he was asleep and opened the door.  Figures of shadows were on Brutal’s bed moving slightly. Shadows loomed on the walls. I flicked on the lights abruptly and my heart stopped at the sight. Thoughts of reasoning surfaced only a bit when I realized River was on the bed with Brutal. Rage filled and tears arose. Guilt shone on Brutal’s face.        “Brutal?” I squeaked. I backed away, staggering at first and then fully turned to sprint. Brutal leaped off the bed and ran towards me. He grabbed my shoulder and twisted towards him.
“Baby, I swear-“he started.                                                                                                                                     “Don’t you fucking baby you jack ass!" I screamed. Shocked as he was, I broke away from his hold and ran. The commotion stirred the boys up.                                                                                                              “What’s going on?” Eagle asked. As they saw me run out the door, they looked at Brutal with hard glares. The freezing air blew across my face. Everything ached, and the emotional pain was unbearable. My vision was blurring more by the second. Puffs of white small clouds escaped my gasping mouth. I went to the person who I could trust and rely on.                                                                       “Trevor?” my teeth chattered. “Trevor!” my voice grew desperate. Kyle? He looked concerned and I needed him to console me.                                                                                                                                      “I-I-I saw him a-and I-I don’t th-think-“I stuttered. Whoaa slow down and tell me. So I told him what had happened moments ago.                                                                                                                                  Trevor paused a bit Hmm well he dragged the word out. He seems like a good guy when you told me about him. Just trust him. Wait, did you even give him a chance to explan.                                              My eyes widened and I almost laughed. “Explain!? How could I… I mean…” I trailed off. I was stupid; Brutal was the kind of person who would never do that. I sighed and looked at Trevor. “Where would I be without you?”                                                                                                                                    He laughed and whispered, Go to him!                                                                                                                 I nodded and left Trevor to do what was needed to be done. What I didn’t know was I made a mistake. A mistake to be outside, in the world, I should have never ran. I was vulnerable with no one, and something near was coming faster than I knew. I wasn’t going to make things right, not yet anyways.
