Brutal's P.O.V
Blade quietly broke the lock on the door in a matter of seconds. We walked in the pitch black house. Good thing we had night vision as one of our powers.
We walked a couple steps before we heard Eagle warn, "Stop there's a trap in front of you, an explosion to be exact. Just wait a bit and I'll deactivate it." We tried waiting patiently, but knowing that Kyle was in danger and close was hard.
"Eagle, almost done?" I huffed out. All of a sudden bright lights came on, "Shit!" I whispered.
We were surrounded by super naturals, shape-shifters to be exact.
One guy turned into wolf. I quickly got out my gun with silver bullets, and shot it before it lunged at me. Blade took on a bear, stabbing it repeatedly with a poisoned knife until it was dead, bubbling with foam in its mouth. Razor took out a pen that can turn into an electric sword with a click. He swiftly used his agile speed with his petite body and stabbed the saber tooth tiger. Sorrow grabbed a taser that can blow up anything with one shock, he quickly tased the rhino when it was wide open. Finally it was Blizzards turn; he used his hand to hand combat skills punching the lion repeatedly until it was worn out. Then he used his signature move, he twisted the lions neck with a satisfying crack. We brushed ourselves and wiped our faces that had blood smeared on them. We looked around; the site of dead bodies unfazed us. "Good job guys." I breathed out.
Why didn't we use our powers? I was infamous in the other world. My dad was the president for The Keepers. A council that keeps us in order and stuff like that. They were in charge of all the super naturals in the world, very powerful. I was supposed to succeed him, but I wanted to be free. I ran away with Blade who originally was a demon angel. I don't know anything about my mom since my dad told me she died. I broke rules like turning humans into one of 'us'. They're still tracking me down; I'm special species they said. Fallen Angels are rare. So I'm keeping a low profile, Eagle of course designs and assemble all of our weapons. I changed my look too. If they found out about my gang and Kyle they would kill my gang and torture Kyle. I didn't ever want that.
"Fuck, sorry guys someone interfered with the signals. What happened?" he asked with a tint of worry in his voice.
"Long story short, we killed shape shifters. Don't worry we're fine." Blade answered casually.
"Me? Worry? Yeah right." he scoffed, "Anyways I don't know if we will have contact after you enter that door, so good l-" Before he could finish there was a gunshot on the other side.
"Damn it!" I growled, turning back. The boys held me firmly in place, which was pretty good.
"Brutal, I'm sure Eagle can handle himself, let's just keep going." Sorrow reassured me,
"Yeah he can't die that easily anyways.” Blizzard scoffed.
"We've gone too far to go back now." Razor whispered.
Blade just gave me a look, a look I've known since childhood. I nodded and regained my composure. "Let's kick ass." I smirked; the other guys smirked with me. I kicked the only door that was in front of us open, and what I see was not what I expected. It was Kyle tied up.
"Kyle.." I whispered…
