Sneak peek preview of the next chapter, sorry guys I am finally updating little by little c:
My feet ached as it pounded on the slippery, muddy ground. The moon was still shining, and we were still trying to escape.
"B-Brutal, w-we need to get River's sister!" I gasped out.
"What are you talking about?! We need to get away NOW!" he ordered.
"No! I can't let that happen, I already promised River...” I murmured.
"What?" groaned Blizzard, "You gotta be kidding me!" I glared at him behind.
"Shut up, while we get Eagle we should get his sister!" I almost yelled out.
"Hmm seems like a good idea, I mean we do need to get Eagle after all..." Blade huffed out.
My heart was pounding, at this rate I don't know if I'll last any longer.
"You guys need to explain everything about Kyle when we get home. Why didn't we know?!" Sorrow whispered.
I lowered my head, they all knew my secret. I bit my lip trying not to let any emotion show.
"Guys, I said we'd tell you everything later. Right now our first priority is getting out of here with Eagle and River's sister." Brutal strictly said.
"Right, right." Razor groaned out.
"Can you guys sense that? It's Eagle's scent." Blade whispered, halting all of us. They all nodded and looked at each other. How much powers and secrets do they have left that I don't know of? We scanned the place; it was very suspicious since it was dead quiet, with the occasional wild life making a couple sounds.
"Alright, let's do this!" Brutal commanded. Like that we raced towards the building where our friend was waiting for us.
