Chapter 2: A Night of Surprises

The doorbell rang, snapping Renjun from his thoughts. He walked over to open it and was met with Chenle's excited shout.

"Gege!" Chenle called out cheerfully.

"Not so loud, Juyeo is asleep," Renjun cautioned, ushering Chenle and Yuto inside.

Yuto rushed forward and wrapped his arms around Renjun's legs. "Hey buddy! Where's your Dada and Papa?"

"Yuta and Sicheng are celebrating their anniversary tonight, so Jisung and I are watching Yuto," Chenle explained.

"Ah, I see. Well, come in. Dinner will be ready shortly." Renjun led them inside, setting Chiwon's car seat gently in the living room. The baby was sound asleep, and Renjun was determined not to wake him.

Jikyu, upon hearing Yuto's voice, ran over to him with open arms. "Yuto! I missed you! Juyeo and I missed you!" The toddlers embraced warmly before running to sit on the couch together.

"So, when are you and Jisung getting married?" Renjun asked as he worked on dinner.

"Whenever Chenle's ready. We want to wait a bit longer," Jisung replied. "What about you, Hyung? Are you still with those two?"

"It's complicated. They're only here for dinner, that's all." The first people to learn about the separation between Renjun and his partners were Chenle and Jisung, which led to their current arrangement.

"Oh, and we were wondering if you could keep Yuto and Chiwon tonight. Jisung and I haven't had much time for ourselves lately," Chenle asked.

"So, basically, you and Jisung want to have some alone time without the kids hearing your...activities?" Renjun clarified, raising an eyebrow.

"Gege, it's not like that!" Chenle protested.

"It seems like it to me. But fine, I guess I can manage," Renjun said with a sigh before returning to his cooking. "How about you help set the table?"

"Dada," Juyeo said softly, rubbing his eyes and reaching out to Renjun's leg.

"Yes, sweetie? How was school?" Renjun asked, stirring the pot on the stove.

"It was okay, but where's Uncle Yuta? I want to see him," Juyeo said.

"Uncle Yuta isn't here today, but Yuto is with your brother. How about you go watch TV with them?" Renjun suggested, patting Juyeo's head.

"No, Dada. I want to play doctor with Uncle Chenle," Juyeo insisted.

Without waiting for an answer, Juyeo grabbed Chenle's hand and began dragging him down the hallway. "Uncle Chenle is sick and needs a shot."

"But Uncle Chenle doesn't like shots," Chenle protested, though his tone was playful.

"It's okay; I'll give you a lollipop if you're good," Juyeo promised.

At the dinner table, Jisung praised Renjun's cooking. "Hyung, this is amazing. Where did you learn to cook like this?"

"I picked up a few things on my own," Renjun replied, rolling his eyes at Jaemin's boastful comment. "Let's just say I learned from experience."

"Let's get drunk!" Renjun announced, bringing out two bottles of wine.

Later, Renjun hugged his Moonmin plushie tightly, giggling to himself. "So cute, I could just kiss you."

"I thought I was immature," Chenle remarked, folding his arms.

"You've got to admit, he's much cuter when drunk," Jisung joked.

"And much more endearing," Jaemin agreed.

Chenle opened the door to find Jisung and himself heading out. "Please take care of Chiwon and Yuto for us. And Renjun too..."

He glanced back at Renjun, who was cuddling his plushie. "Yeah, take care of him. He seems a bit out of it."

"Don't worry, we'll make sure everyone is in bed by 9:00, including Renjun," Jaemin assured them.

"See you later," Chenle and Jisung said before leaving.

"Alright, boys! Who wants bubble baths?" Jaemin called out.

The three boys raced to the tub, with Jaemin following behind. "I'm going to put Renjun to bed. He's sound asleep," Jeno said, picking Renjun up from the couch.

"Okay, I'll handle the boys and get them ready for bed," Jaemin said.

Jaemin adjusted the bath water to be lukewarm, adding plenty of bubbles that the boys loved. "All set! Time to get in!"

Jeno laid Renjun on the bed, contemplating whether to change him into something more comfortable. He decided to search through Renjun's closet and came across a photo book. Curiosity got the better of him, and he flipped through it, discovering a collection of Renjun's baby and recent photos.

"Jeno! You're supposed to be looking after Renjun, not snooping through his stuff!" Jaemin whispered urgently.

"What are you looking at anyway?" Jaemin asked, peeking over.

"It's a photo book with Renjun's baby pictures. I had no idea he was so interesting," Jeno admitted.

Jaemin looked through the book as Jeno flipped the pages. "He's adorable. Renjun is definitely the cutest."

"Agreed," Jeno said, smiling. Both Jeno and Jaemin were undeniably smitten.

"Well, I'm going to put the boys to bed. Make sure Renjun stays comfortable," Jaemin instructed before heading off.

After settling the boys, Jaemin returned to check on Renjun and Jeno. To his surprise, he found them cuddling together.

"He thought I was Moonmin and didn't want to let go," Jeno explained.

"I love drunk Renjun," Jaemin said with a laugh.

Jaemin decided to join them, removing his jeans and turning off the lights before snuggling up with them. "I guess we're spending the night."

Bonus Scene:

Chenle lay contentedly on Jisung's chest. "I can't believe Renjun thought we wanted to have sex."

"Yeah," Jisung agreed with a sigh.

Chenle playfully hit Jisung's chest. "Hey! Don't tell me you actually want to do it again!"

"No! That was just a sleepy sigh," Jisung protested.

"People don't sigh when they're sleepy, idiot!" Chenle retorted.

"Actually—" Jisung began to explain, but was cut off.

"Just shut up and kiss me, Park Jisung," Chenle demanded.

And Jisung did just that.
