Chapter 3: Lights Off

"Are you sure this is going to work?" I asked.

"Don't worry superstar. All will go perfectly."

"I'm just worried about what will happen afterwards. Me and Sun have just met and well, we are really close. If anything happened, I don't know what I'd do"

"I'm sure it will be fine; Sun is really the type of guy to forgive and forget! You two are perfect together."

"It was a one-time thing! I swear I don't actually like him."

Freddy chuckled; I immediately went up to Sun to start our plan. "Hey Sun! Can we play hide 

and seek together again? It was really fun before."

"Hoo Hoo! That is a great idea! Ok, I'm the hunter, go hide, go hide!!"

I ran to a hiding spot, and as I saw Freddy get closer and closer to the light switch, I felt a huge rush of guilt devour me. It was for his own good, but I can't help but feel bad. BAM! The lights went off, and I could hear Sun's scream. I ran to him, I don't care if the plan told me to wait, I couldn't watch him be in pain like that. I shouted his name, he grabbed my shoulder and stood there. "You lied to me. You deserve to be punished." his voice was dark and grim, I got scared, but I didn't move. I kept my ground and he looked even more annoyed "I'm warning you, if you don't run away now, I'll murder you." That didn't change a thing, he looked up at me and I embraced him, and I felt so safe.

"Moon, you might know me. I'm y/n, but Sun calls me Sunshine. I wanted to tell you, it's really nice to meet you. I think you're sweet no matter if you're Moon or Sun, you're still my friend. You're still someone who cares about me."

I looked up to Moons face, he looked so happy yet so lost. His arm fell to the floor. His eyes went dim and he dropped. I knew it had worked, Freddy ran to me, only to give me a hug of appreciation. Moon dragged himself up, and he looked at me. Freddy had turned the lights on, and Sun was back. "Sun, I'm so sorry. I did this so moon could be happier, and so his code could go back to normal." Sun just smiled, and hugged me.

"You don't have anything to apologize for, Sunshine. You helped me! You're really a great friend!" Sun squeezed me hard, I squeezed him back. "By the way, tomorrow would you like to go to a really special place with me? I'd love for you to be there!" I agreed, we continued our slumber party until our batteries had basically died.

~Time skip to 6am tomorrow <3

Sun had been looking at me all morning, the kids even started to notice. I walked up to him, "So, what's that special place you were talking about?" Sun jumped up happily and told me to follow him, we went behind a playground structure and presented me with a table, fully set up with a fake candle, plates and some pizza. He pulled my chair out and instructed me to sit. He sat in front of me and looked at me admiringly. Some of the kids were spying on us, but I tried to ignore them

"So, Sunshine... how are you?"

"I'm good, thank you for asking! I hope you're feeling nice."

"Everything's always magic and rainbows with you!"

I chuckled, I tried to hide the fact that I was blushing but I think he caught on, he scooted his 

chair towards me and turned me towards him. "Hey sunshine~"

"SUN!!" a kid had run in with a very worried face. I asked him what the problem was and he responded with "It's Charlie! He's gone missing!! We were playing hide and seek and he had a really good hiding spot, we searched every inch of the daycare but he isn't here!!" Sun and I exchanged worried looks
